Ok, so first pair of Aldens today. I was stoked, as they are in pretty good shape pre-renovateur. BUT after I asked about people getting shit from your cart the other day, I see this motherfucker handling them, but luckily my little brother was with the cart and he told him to leave my shoes alone lol. Pics later, but a shitty day as a whole, one of the worst so far.

My guess: No.

My reasoning: nothing more than Occam's razor, so take it with a grain of salt.

That is some iteration of old, licensed Balmain.

Your likliehood of finding good Balmain is, well, probably unlikely to the point that it isn't even worth attaching some infinitesimal percentage to it.

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe some old lady bought it thinking he came with it?

Here's a couple of finds from my latest trip:

700

PRL Jacket (Click to show)
700Is this an orphan? It's about a 42R. I say this because it's a tad too big for me and I wear a 38-40, so available.

And,

700

PRL Seersucker 34/30 (Click to show)

700 700

Fits me perfectly in the waist but a tad too short in the legs, so available.

The only thing I bought today was a recent HSM gold trumpeter suit. In excellent condition. Figure it will at least pay for gas running to all the other stores only to come up empty facepalm.gif

What are your guys opinions on Ben Sharman shirts? Been seeing a lot of them lately, but passing.

Ol' Sherman does half-decent on eBay. I've only found one or two shirts of his that I would wear myself.

That's all I needed to hear! But added another facepalm to an otherwise unfruitful day facepalm.gif

Welp, in a fit of productivity (in part...and in part because my house has itself begun to resemble a thrift store), I started taking pictures and categorizing all of my finds from oh...say...the last 3-4 months that I've been too lazy to do anything about as they piled up.  6 hours and 1200 pictures later (in all fairness, I take about 12-18 pics per item and use 5-6 per 'bay listing), and I've finished all of the suits and am about 3/4 through the SCs.  I guess tomorrow is SC, shirt, and shoes day.  This is, like, an unreasonable amount of work.  Also, I kind of have a problem, it appears.

EDIT: For lulz, whoever is up, want to play clothing roulette?  Pick a number between 1 and 1153 (I rounded up) and I'll post the corresponding pic for the next few minutes until I fall asleep in my chair.

When did they start making stand alone seersucker pants?

I really think he did it as a joke. Good for him for selling that. Maybe I should try that approach...Nah, can't get low enough to do that.
