Perhaps it's your expression, but you look kind of like a young Greg Proops. Not a huge fan of the yellow polo with the blazer though, or of keeping the blazer buttoned whilst seated.
I could see that resemblance. He's not the worst comic ever...heh, so thanks! I wanted to finally wear that polo and we were going to what is essentially an opera house (though most people were dressed pretty dumpy as it was a Fiona Apple show) so I figured I'd wear something somewhat formal.
How do you like Uniqlo's stuff? I've toyed around with the idea of picking up some basics from them for about a year, but I've yet to pull the trigger.
Just like you said, basics. I found this blazer at a thrift for $3 and didn't even grab the identical one next to it because black blazers are pretty limited in my mind. It was the perfect opportunity to try Uniqlo and I feel it fits the bill for a piece of clothing you could lose and not bat an eye. The cut is great, but it's not even at the level of a J crew jacket, maybe more along the lines of an H & M? Though I feel that this particular blazer is more substantial than H & M cotton blazers I've tried on.
I don't know how you find SOOO many. I find a few and buy even fewer as the places that have them want $5-$15 a pair and most are only so-so looking
