Surprised there wasn't more response on this. I looked up the brand and it looks like retail may run north of $700. Has anyone heard of these?

Do you know what causes the spots in the leather? Is that just part of the leather?

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
—I specified US only shipping in an auction.
—A guy in Kenya bid and won anyway.
—The specified shipping was Priority flat rate. Priority flat rate doesn't allow for tracking internationally, so I sent it with no tracking. (Yeah, I know.)
—The guy filed an "item not received" claim just four days after I shipped. WTF? It takes a while for something to arrive in Kenya.
—PayPal only gives me a few options for a response: issue a full refund, provide tracking, provide proof of a refund. I want to respond and say, obviously the item would still be in transit, but that's not an option. I also want to add that the guy has been shady in general, asking me to lie about the item's value on the customs form.
—I don't want to respond with any of the available options, but if I don't, then PayPal says they'll automatically decide in his favor. Really?

Anyway, am I screwed? Do I just wait for Paypal to decide in his favor and take my money?

It looks like it got wet. I've had good success getting those out with Saphir Reno'Mat. It can take 2-3 cleanings but then you put leather conditioner on it and it looks better than new.

They seem pretty decent, decent enough for me to give them a run. They are the Gap Loose or whatever.

The initial question I have is:  "WHY WOULD YOU SHIP TO AFRICA?"  ffffuuuu.gif

The immediate followup question I have is: "REALLY?  WHY WOULD YOU SHIP TO AFRICA?"  ffffuuuu.gifffffuuuu.gif

Even that the sign says 21+ to buy beer and I'm 19 but go to buy beer the cashier dosnt go...."oh ok, even that the signs says you have to be 21, because you picked it up and bought it to the checkout line, I'll sell it to you".facepalm.gif

Your out the $100, BUT call paypal and talk to someone. They are actually pretty helpful

A) Only ship to places you want to ship

B) Only ship to verified paypal address with seller protection is eligible

C) Only ship with tracking domestic under $250

D) Only ship with signature confirmation domestic over $250

E) Only ship with express mail international

How can you enforce this if the person that wins doesn't have a verified address? If you don't ship, I assume they leave you negative feedback.

There are boxes you can check/uncheck at the bottom of your listing that lists countries you can ship to. Uncheck them and it will prevent them from bidding. I unchecked every one except Canada, US and Japan and haven't had bidders from any other country in several years.

Stuff from last week. The t shirt has a blemish on the front, hopefully a wash takes care of it.
Everything else is available.

Easy! Put a note in your listing under shipping details that you require a verified shipping address. No problem. Actually, as long as seller protection is eligible, I have never had a problem shipping to unverified addresses.
