Yeah, I can make out a C in the center of the bottom line, but that's about it.

It was an absolute pleasure to meet you and hang out for a bit. I'm looking forward to more trips in to the wild.

These are the shoes.

Have you tried coloring a piece of paper (with pencil) over the logo to see if the logo is indented enough to pick up on the paper?

(Not sure how else to describe the process and I'm not sure it'll work but I remember distinctly remember learning how to do this back in the first grade)

Perhaps it's your expression, but you look kind of like a young Greg Proops. Not a huge fan of the yellow polo with the blazer though, or of keeping the blazer buttoned whilst seated.

How do you like Uniqlo's stuff? I've toyed around with the idea of picking up some basics from them for about a year, but I've yet to pull the trigger.

^^^ I like that he kept it buttoned.  I always feel a bit undone when I leave my jacket open, but that's just me.

^^^ I think it's called a "rubbing" when you use the broad side of a crayon on a piece of paper to pick up an underlying image.  I've seen it done on antique grave markers and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in DC.

PS Thanks for the kind word Spoo. You're just being gracious because you're doing the classic drug dealer MO: get 'em hooked and he'll keep coming back for more. bounce2.gif

The pink tag is just from the drycleaners.  I'm not sure why they do that, but my guess is it tells them how to dryclean it so they know immediately if you bring it back in.

Found a tan Brioni gabardine suit, double-breasted, 6 on 2, side vented. First decent find in weeks.

I also got hit with my first PayPal claim, from a buyer in Kenya. ffffuuuu.gif Would appreciate some tips from you experienced guys:
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
—I specified US only shipping in an auction.
—A guy in Kenya bid and won anyway.
—The specified shipping was Priority flat rate. Priority flat rate doesn't allow for tracking internationally, so I sent it with no tracking. (Yeah, I know.)
—The guy filed an "item not received" claim just four days after I shipped. WTF? It takes a while for something to arrive in Kenya.
—PayPal only gives me a few options for a response: issue a full refund, provide tracking, provide proof of a refund. I want to respond and say, obviously the item would still be in transit, but that's not an option. I also want to add that the guy has been shady in general, asking me to lie about the item's value on the customs form.
—I don't want to respond with any of the available options, but if I don't, then PayPal says they'll automatically decide in his favor. Really?

Anyway, am I screwed? Do I just wait for Paypal to decide in his favor and take my money?

The initial question I have is:  "WHY WOULD YOU SHIP TO AFRICA?"  ffffuuuu.gif

The immediate followup question I have is: "REALLY?  WHY WOULD YOU SHIP TO AFRICA?"  ffffuuuu.gifffffuuuu.gif
