I really like that blue one...that's the great thing about thrifting: many of my favorite finds are random items like this.

I completely agree. I usually buy dress shirts, suits and sportcoats retail because I don't often find them in my size. However, things like ties, scarves, bags/briefcases and home goods I do find. They're often the most interesting and well used things that I get. Anything that isn't in my size and goes unwanted here goes to eBay to fund the new items I buy.

It's similar to a filson in the cloth material and uses nice buffalo leather. Made by Levenger, possibly in England. Not currently on their website. Even if it's technically a purse, I might stlll rock it as a carry-on bag.

Correct, not selvedge. Check the Googol box for good examples.

Wait what? The day I'm in LA hitting a few GW's, you're in my usual neck of the woods laying waste to all that was good?

Awesome scores. Please, break my heart by PM'ing me which GW you hit up, because seriously, yeah they're good around here, but I'm not sure I've ever seen it that good.

OK, dudes. I went away for a couple of days. And officially fell off the wagon.

Hit several stores on Saturday. Picked up a pink linen blend tie, a blue knit wool tie and a scarlet T&A polka dot tie for me, plus a Bullock & Jones (Made in Switzerland; pearl buttons, yadda yadda) blue plaid shirt, plus a couple of belts for m'lady, plus a pair of 9.5 Alden loafers (resoled well, though not via Alden; small crack in instep of left (I think) shoe but otherwise should shine nicely) plus a replica Spanish soccer jersey. Everything but the ties are available.

Don't have pics of the T&A, which is unfortunate, because it's pretty choice. But here are pics of the Aldens and B&J, some better pics of last week's ties (still available), plus pics of the Paul Smith SC I mentioned a while back (and an older black linen/silk blend EZ Soft I struggled to pass on, but failed).

Is that something that's fixable? How much does it cost? I have a pair of Tod's with that damage that I'd get fixed if it wasn't too much.

Three stores visited, found nothing except a unworn looking Scottish wool tartan tie with unusual color combination bought because interesting.
