BOLO!

Something I meant to post a while ago but slipped my mind...a long-time friend of mine started a luxury purse line not too long ago, and sent out dozens and dozens of "review" pieces (fashion mags and for people to be seen & photographed with, more or less).  I know a lot of times these freebies get donated or consigned, so anyone in a fashion-zone might keep an eye out for one, to give to their little lady.  Here's her site.  The name in purses is not well known yet, though you might recognize the family name if you're into gold & silver baubles or jewelry.

I thought perhaps somebody here can shed some light on a jacket i found today. The quality is waaaaay out there. Hand pic stitching, collar/ lapels attached by hand, high armholes, surgeon's cuffs etc etc etc etc etc. Fits like a dream too. There is only one small label in the entire thing, sewn into one of the inside pockets:

"James Bone & Co.

32 Old Burlington Street

London  W1X 1LB"

Then handwritten underneath is "5885 Daniel Stein 1080" I'm assuming this is bespoke, or at the very least MTM, but I absolutely cant find anything about the maker in google.

Sounds like bespoke. So what if the tailor is obscure. If the quality is there, it's there.

Damn straight!  I missed them when they came thru town recently (Atlanta) but saw them plenty of times in the 80s & 90s.  Pick up Flight 666 on Blu-Ray if you're so inclined and don't already have it - great doc / concert film!

I avoid social media on a personal level - zero interest in what some guy from my primary school is doing these days and no idea how they found me...so I quit personal social media.

I do not have nor intend to have a savvy and efficient business presence on the internet.  It's a weekend hobby - more than that would be work and no longer fun.  I do not spend $1000+ in consignment shops, much less $1000+ on single items, and see no need to invest in lighting, a better digital camera, setting aside a part of my home to be a showroom, pinnable mannequins, or the time involved in setting up photo shoots.  It's a weekend / spare time thing.  I work from home and when things slow down, instead of playing Angry Birds or whatever I take some photos and toss something on eBay.  I pick up far more than I have time to list on eBay, so I take it as it comes.  Thank you for your feedback, though - I do know I at least need to take better photos in some cases...but I wouldn't go so far as to say they're crappysatisfied.gif

I always grab them, they run a lot slimmer and if your a bigger guy going for that more tailored look, they are perfect.

That's me listing the 4XB Zegna shirts...unless Jkidd also has some, in which case - well crap - may the best BINOBO win.
