That borrelli is amazing.....rare to see such a desireable colorway in a thrift store.
I have a Charvet that is a woven polka dot (red on blue), that I was shocked to see as it is such a classic (it has yet to snag btw, must be a fake).

It does say Barbour but I have never seen any Barbour item with the name in script, it is always in block letters - upper case 'B' lower case 'arbour'
It might be worth an e-mail to customer services to see if they can shed any light.

CODHEAD: That did not even cross my mind. Thank you, and thanks Matt for responding as well. Well here is the verdict...

This is a Barbour sweater from several seasons ago now….probably seven or eight. The label was used when our Classic line first came out.

Kind regards,
Debbie Broadley

With that said, is anyone interested? It is several sizes to large.

Very cool! Glad that worked out in your favor.

It seems too big for me, but if no one bites here, throw it up in B&S. From what I can tell, Barbour stuff is pretty popular there (for the right price, of course).

Cool - great bit on information. If I would have seen that, I would have passed thinking it was a fake. Never knew them to use a different font on their labels.

Passed on a Hickey Freeman Custom 3-Piece Solid Mid-Grey heavy flannel, single-vent, flat front pants - approximate size (just from tying on) of a 40S. If anyone is interested let me know and I will go back for it.

Yes - alternate red and blue weave, I think I'll wear it tomorrow.

Recently:

J.Press Pressidential suit:

Armani casual SC (was initially skeptical about authenticity but I've seen these tags elsewhere and am somewhat convinced it's genuine):

R.Caruso suit, size 46, unvented:

A Made in England oddity for Carroll & Co.; navy DB, double-vented, enamel buttons, wool is very jersey-like; didn't know how I would wear it, tried to return it, ended up keeping it and have worn it twice in the last month

And hangers

I stopped by a store today as Autozone charged and tested my battery (dead and exactly one month out of warranty, figures...) Nothing too special, but I did pick up this Corneliani in a really cool pattern. The turquoise color is really great. Unfortunately, it's unvented a little too large for me.

Yeah, at first glance I almost passed, but I felt it and it was a pretty quality piece. I have also never seen any fake Barbour items...and it was half price.

If you look on ebay, they have a few guides regarding fake Barbour stuff. It exists, but like you, I've never seen it before either.

Today's haul

Picked up a JPress olive mix 3-roll-2 blazer in houndstooth. It's been sitting there for forever, and I can't see anything wrong with it. Since today was a discount day, I couldn't pass it up anymore. It's up for grabs for anyone interested.

I think it is this one from their Presstige line: http://www.jpressonline.com/sportcoats_presstige_detail.php?id=J22565T

P2P = 24"
Arms = 25" w/ an inch between the cuff and the lining
Waist = 23.75"
Shoulders = 20"
BOC = 31.5"

Fully canvased

(for some reason, this photo won't edit to turn 90 degrees)

Also picked up a PRL forest green cardigan, size L. 100% lambswool and made in Hong Kong. It's a bit big for me, so it's up for grabs. If not, perfectly comfortable to wear around the house.

Sorry for the ****** pic. I couldn't get the lights to not wash it out. Just imagine it in forest green.
