I LOVE these shades! I've ditched the Maui Jims for now.

Somebody wanted half off a week later, even though it was only $5. I got it for 25% off full price. But since they tried to cheap out over a few bucks, they get nothing.

Oh wait, that's Prorsum.

P1020291.jpg

99.5% sure that is not the Prorsum you were hoping for. That is the OLD label which most of them had Prorsum in the flag. Someone here whill be able to confirm the last 0.5% though.

ok that is just ridiculous. normally dudes post stuff like:
"hey everyone, i found this amazing kiton suit in a staple color/pattern...that's five sizes too big for me"
"hey everyone, i found this great oxxford suit in my size...with giant 70's lapels"
"hey everyone, i found a great brioni in my size...too bad it's a tux and i'll never wear it"

that BC is in your size, looks mad current, and is in a staple color. you can probably throw that thing on over whatever you're wearing at any given time and have a 95% chance of looking like a boss.

if i was you, i'd pull a george costanza and walk away after that one. worship.gif

There were three suit coats -- don't know about the pants. I assume it's some knock-off trafficking in a respected name?

+1, but don't walk away. Always more cool stuff to be found.

That BC is a grail find for sure though.

Agreed. I'm not sure we've even had a Prorsum posted in the thread, ever. That's just a real old Burberry.

I think Prorsum should be there with YSL, Dior and Lanvin. Your never gonna find the good kind, only the shitty kind. Although sometimes it is made by Belvest , but Dior and Lanvin is sometimes made by Corneliani or Canali and that's rare.
the only place i've seen real Prorsum is at a high-end consignment shop near here. women's only, no mens stuff. lots of vinyl, weird materials, etc. if you ever see real prorsum, you'll know it.

IMO burberry isn't worth picking up. most of what's in thrifts is the old stuff, and the new "good" stuff is just relabeled HF with a "burberry" thrift markup. burberry seems to be the one brand that consistently triggers the thrift store worker "WE MUST PRICE THIS SUIT AT $199!!!!!" alarm bells.

^'Tis correct! However, what's the size? That's a bad ass pattern. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

I found around 7 or 8 blue Bergdorf Goodman custom made shirts from the same donor. Too bad the donor monogrammed them all.

I'm gonna go exchange about 1/3 of my find today. Hopefully I'll find something worthy to exchange. There was a $20 Versace shirt...if push comes to shove...

Leave that SAVERS alone... I have yet to understand their pricing matrix. Try a GW or SArmy instead and dig for gold!!!

If you really must do savers ,they do seasonal pricing on sweaters... and the ties are a fair price. But, the ROI is negated by their higher pricing.

As for the JV i would do a BIN / BO at $99 and see if someone offers you something more then 30$ . What do you have to lose....

P.S. Does your Savers sell Gap Outlet shirts at 9$ ?
