HUGE shout-out to Greg613. I went by the GW with the torsos during lunch, and both of them were still there. I put one in my cart immediately, browsed around a bit, and then came back to inspect the second one. Right then, a woman started checking me out pretty heavily, it turns out she runs a beau-teek and they would be peeerrrrffeeecct for her store. I cleared out and let her snag the other one.

Great-ish shape, but could use a scrub down. Fully adjustable stand. $10.

I also picked up Purple Rain on vinyl. The cover's kind of beat, but the record looks clean, so I glady ponied up 77 cents.

And if anyone is ballsy enough to wear these, they were $20. NOS. Perfect shape. 11 D:

That's what I'm talking about! We should lobby for Frenchy to get his own reality show.
Umm...did no one else besides me and Jon just notice Frenchy's post, or are the rest of you cleaning up the innards from your exploding heads?

And DM, you already know. Even when I was in LA I could find that quality, but never in that quantity man. You're really killing it, hope it's helping you get through school with no debt (trust man, debt is balls).

Edit: Ok cool catside. I thought I had imagined that post for a second.

Also, someone find me some staple suits in about a 37ish / 30W. I'll even buy them from your ebay link if I can just find some decent suits that fit.

Found a nice pair of US made HS Trask Bison shoes today.

An old Burberry's Camel Hair Plaid Sport Coat

And then this Cufflink grab bag that turned out pretty good. 2 of the tie tacks are Gold and one tie bar is Sterling Silver

Yeah, I should have been more specific: I'm not getting ANYTHING from SF anymore. The subscriptions don't bother me. It's the PMS. Not getting those either.

Any tips on finding stuff like this? The thrifts I hit do NOT have this kind of quality.

Yeah I passed on a pair a while back, and regretted it ever since.

Well, I can't even begin to quote all of the interesting things everyone has posted for the past 24 hours. Great things and I'd love to see more furniture!

These aren't exactly thrift finds since I found them online at non-thrift prices, but they arrived today and I was pretty excited. Made in England for RL luggage (carry on size)
233233233233526

They appear to be NOS as they only have a couple of minor marks on the leather. The canvas doesn't have a spot of discoloration.

On to today's only find and it's non-clothing at that (sorry!). It's a hand-blown oil lamp. The wick is obviously new, but I think the lamp itself is fairly old. It could possibly be from a chemistry lab? Not too sure, but the price was right...

And thank you for those. Probly my fav casual loafers at the moment.

They had similar grensons in the same size, but I hesitated. By the time I went back 2 hours later they were gone. Pride weekend really cleared out the thrifts.

That's a good thing. Means all new stuff to look at in the next week or two. When it gets a little stagnant, I have considered just buying a bunch of cheap undesireable shoes and donating them elsewhere, just to see some new stuff hit the shelves.

Frenchy's audio finds are making me jealous, haven't seen much here in a long time. Picked up a 70s silver Sanyo integrated amp this weekend for myself which is sounding pretty reasonable.

Only clothing find in 6 stores this weekend was a Zegna mostly wool cardigan mock-neck with big buttons. Thrown in the closet already to wait for fall.
