^^ Haha, yeah. Definitely not wearing both at once unless I'm out shoveling snow or something and warmth reigns over looks. I figure as seperate pieces, these would work great for streetwear/workwear steez.

Assumed with a Taglia 52 (Im guessing jacket size) and Drop 8R, these were for a suit? Can you tell how old they are from the label? Super 160's!!

Thanks for the comments on my suit post, and thanks for the talk on the Barbour jackets, as that is a brand that I woulda overlooked. I stopped in on the neighborhood Gw 50% off sale this Wednesday and found this as they were bring it out and got it for $3.00. Its nice and loads of pockets. Also found a like new pair of grey Oxxford trousers for 7.00 that make me want throw away all Zanellas. I like to know who affords these things at retail.

Inspired by Klobber...I spent the whole day thrifting. This was a combination of two Goodwill's and one consignment store (who's prices beat the hell out of the GW marked up section), along with four stores that yielded zilch. Here are my finds:

Paging Spoo......Is this legit? And if so is it worth keeping or selling (the GW here does allow returns). It's a 58L and it fits me. Although it is a bit different.

Sport Coats...all are available:

L to R

Hugo Boss (Loro Piana fabric) Sz 44R
Alexandre London (this has a cool lining) A tad small on me so I'd guess it to be about a 44R
S Cohen Montreal (Loro Piana fabric) looks really cool. Sz 39R
Hickey Freeman (not sure if this is an orphan...but it has the same name a sport coat I just sold) Sz 42R

Large Shirts (these you can tell were from the same guy)...all available.

Paul & Shark Sz L
British Textile Co. (Hong Kong) rough 16/16.5 x 35
Ascot Chang french cuff (same as above)

XL shirts...these are mine unless convinced otherwise

2 Thomas Pink 17/36
Paul & Shark XL

Sweater - NWT Harley Scotland Sz L (available otherwise my wife is going to snag it)

And last pants:

Zanella Sz 38 x 34 (keeping unless I get a offer-need to tailor a bit)
Bills Khakis (M2P dress) Sz 36
Incotex Sz 36...look like new
Barbour Cords Sz 36

Also found a pair of Made in USA LL Bean navy cords (sz 33). I can let these go if anyone needs a pair of beater cords, otherwise I'll see if my father in law can use them.

With some odd ball stuff added in for my wife and son, still well under $200.

I went back to the store that yielded all the Oxxford jackets a couple weeks ago. They had just seven suits total in the men's section, three of which were Oxxfords, barely if ever worn and each with the Oxxford brochure in the pocket. I left one made from a rust-colored synthetic fabric but picked up two great staple suits.
Oxxford charcoal gray flannel suit, custom but I think about a 46 L

Oxxford blue suit, 44 L. They'd need to add a zero to the number on that brochure today.

Beautiful Talbott ancient madder ties, NWT (originally sold by same men's shop as the Oxxfords)

I successfully snagged the Hermes scarf (or whatever you call it; it's huge) from last night. Go ahead and tell me that it's a knock off so I can get the tears over with. :hide:

I picked up this old trunk with some serious patina. I'm not sure what to do with it.

And something for the tie swap box:

What is there really to say? This is an incredible haul. :slayer:

Score! That brochure font looks to be from the mid 70's to the early 80's. Wonder what a Oxxford suit ran back then. At least $1,000 you'd think.

That footlocker is great. Looks like an olive green WWII issue - I have one from my grandfather.

Incotex Sz 36...look like new
Barbour Cords Sz 36

Any interest in parting with these? :D

Oh, and the Versace looks real to me, going by the fabric content/size tag.

Legit, yes, seems that way. Probably 2003-5 ish. Worth keeping? No. Selling? Depends on what you paid. Under $20, why not, give it a roll. Its not a banger, but you will get something.
