Or maybe just a recent, complete 40R suit by any decent maker. We have members in Canada, the States, and Europe, and I can't remember the last decent staple find. Which is why I'm riding the consignment wave.

So how recent/old is this one I picked up today. First PZ I have ever seen. And if recent, how big is the money pool for this 40ish PZ suit in staple navy blue?

EDIT: Once I got it home under my 5000K photo booth, I can see the unfortunate evidence of over-drycleaning. Thus the search continues.

Dockers D1 (Macy's clearance / $15)
Sperry Topsiders laced straight up, untied with little barrel knots on the ends. (thrift but NWT / $20 eek.gif )
Seiko Kinetic w/cobalt face (Costco / $120 ten years ago)

Also trying a new hairstyle, parted on the right instead of brushed straight back. Axe Sleek Shine Pomade.
The shirt's a bit big but it's just the right weight for today's weather and the sleeves are rolled per F. Corbera. Plus I REALLY like the collar.

Nice. Loving the pant/shoe combo. Would have been perfect if the shirt was a little smaller but it still looks ok

Nice Look! I guess this isn't a work outfit since it's not black.

I found this "Lacoste" polo at a Goodwill on Sunday. The buttons don't say anything, and there's no "Devanlay" text, plus the croc looks off to my (admittedly inexperienced) eyes. Here are some pics of the tag and the croc, and you can see the inside of the tag has some red and black stripes. Please note that I'm a total newb to this stuff, so it may be obvious either way, but is this polo legit? If so, any specifics you can share?

I also found this Hickey Freeman which I find both awesome and hideous (a couple small holes in the sleeve, sadly).

And a few weeks ago I found a Polo by Ralph Lauren leather jacket which was in surprisingly awesome condition (some 'blueing' at the edges, some easily cleaned marks). And this past Sunday I also found an "American Trend" poly/wool jacket and waistcoat which I love. They're nothing special, of course, but they are the first decent-looking 38S things I've found in my two months of thrifting.

Agreed but I really dig the pattern/colors/collar and the fabric. Thanks!

Correct. Dig had to work on Father's Day so today was the day off. I enjoyed it! Much appreciated.

Chino. I got them last year when noobizor (or was it nataku?) posted a PSA about them getting a massive markdown in this color. Believe me when I say that I couldn't get there fast enough and grabbed the last pair in my size! cheers.gif

I'm no expert but even I would venture to say that Lacoste is fake, unless back in the gap they gave the alligator hypodermic needle-esque teeth.

Yeah, the teeth and eye on the patch look weird to me. I haven't seen a real one, but I do obviously have pictures online to compare to. And the back leg on the tag looks wonky.

Looks totally fake to me. The head of the croc looks wrong.

Pretty sure it's fake.

Ok, so 84 items sold on Ebay, and I encountered my first TOTAL douchebag buyer. This guy buys some jeans from me says they're fake, I respond almost immediately saying that I will give a full refund once I receive jeans and/or tracking info for the jeans. He messages me again (in broken english, but has address in CT or MA), we exchange a few messages over the course of the day with me replying no less than 3 TIMES, that I have 0 issue with giving him a refund. He then says blah blah blah, I opened a dispute with Paypal. I tell him there is no dispute as I've offered you a full refund... To top it all off, initially he wanted me to ship to a different address than was on Paypal, but I refused. If I could, I would beat the shit out of this guy right now. Any advice on what to do with paypal?

Found this Oxxford Celticaire houndstooth SC today. Is there any significance to the silver label?
