First, super props to Catside, for hooking me up with a really sweet J Press suit, incredible condition and fits like a glove- thanks man!

 

Here are a few pickups from the last week:

 

Florsheim by Duckie Brown, excellent condition with practically no signs of wear, Navy PTB's, my size (8.5 D) so keeping for now

 

 

 

Florsheim PTB Shell Cordovan, 11D, the resole job looks a little sub par, but def. some life left before the next one

 

 

 

BB Golden Fleece Brownish plaid, tag got over dry cleaned & mostly missing, so cant see actual size, PP @ 25, so maybe 46-48,

may be an orphan but i think it would look great w/ some dark jeans...would keep if my size

they are available (i have been in 34, and of course cant find any decent ones) - Tag size 40 but measure about 21 half waist

 

They're actually not much different from other dogs. She was quite the terror when she was a pup, she ate some of my parents furniture. But in the last 10 years or so, she hasn't required any more or any less attention/exercise, than other dogs her size.

Apologies everyone for taking so long with this. I ended up loosing my company BB in the car I had an accident in so that took a bit of time figuring out and recovering, then I got roped into some extra work right before leaving Friday (can't complain though, the experience is killer and my associate mentor is the man). In any case, I got some better pics and the measurements of that Corneliani Linea Sartoria jacket:

Shoulders to Cuff = ~24" (maybe 23 7/8")

Again, just looking to proxy to a good member in hopes for a future favor or for some trades either in balmorals 9-9.5D, a staple suit from a decent maker, or other interesting MC or SW&D things.

That's good she grew out of her puppy stage. I tend to want to stay away from dogs that were breed with high endurance/ high energy giving this will be my first dog. I really would like a Pitbull but I'll save that for when I have more experience handling dogs. I've been researching dog breeds and learning about how to train dogs for many years and have come to the conclusion that Greyhounds are perfect for my lifestyle.

 

Speaking of eating things, my neighbor's Pitbull Bulldog mix just had a piece of fused garbage removed from his stomach in the size of his stomach! Poor little guy had went through weeks before they found out what was wrong with him yet he was eating, shitting, and playing regularly.

Hey guys, I'm on the hunt for some nicely made Italian SCs and suits. I never seems to find things that fit me during thrifts...

 

Jacket size 40S to 40 R with a 19 to 19.25 inch shoulders, P2P about 21 to 22, sleeves 24, length no more than 30.

Pants size 32 to 36 waist, length no more than 30.

No, you do not.

So it seems to be becoming a regular thing, that when my wife decides unexpectedly to take me to the thrift store on the way home from church, I find great shoes. Probably partially due to being the first ones through the door at 11AM.

Possibly the nicest pair of Hanover Sheppard Signature Shell Cordovan PTBs I have found to date. Worn 1 or 2 times. 10 D/B

 I actually forgot the the best part of this story.

 

I always go staight to the shoe racks. I found the shells from a distance before I even reached the shoe section. They were the only thing worth looking at. The racks were nearly full except for 2 or 3 open spots, (including where the shells had been). As I headed toward the suits, I saw a new employee (they had signs up earlier in the week that they were looking to hire a shoe dept. person...I seriously considered that position.), and she was bringing out a cart of shoes, mostly womens to restock the shelves. I made a quick shuffle throught the suits and SCs, made quicker since I only look for the new weeks color tag ( I am in that store 3 times a week). I headed back to the shoes, not expecting to find anything. But, there in the same exact spot the shells had sat a few minutes earlier, was the new pair of Hanovers. I was elated and went to thank my wife for bringing me. As I passed by the womens shoe section, I saw the new girl and told her what had happened. How I had found two great pairs of shoes in the same exact spot. She thought that was "neat" too. "Hold on" she said. She went back into the back and in a completely unanticipated move, brought out not 1 but 2 full carts of men's shoes. I quickly spotted the AEs and left the rest behind. I thin kI have a new best friend at the thrift. I hope she works on Mondays and Wednesdays.
