42 generally correlates to a 36. I'm always torn on posting the tagged or measured size. Measured size just gives ammo to SNAD cases and tagged size makes the wrong people view your item.

Alright, I'm going to try a less loud pocket square, and a brighter colored tie. I'm definitely not lacking in those departments. Pant's on the other hand, not so much, although I did just receive those RLPL linen pair from GMMcl, they have a fuller leg, but linen on linen of two different colors?

I've been following his work since he started in 2006. He just made a full motion film. He shot most of it in LA. He's talking about releasing it on DVD.

That looks like it's in very nice condition and still from Huffy's made in USA days. I doubt you'll lose either way with the price you paid.

 

Linen on linen would be OK if the colors were not too close a match.  A solid blue cotton, linen, or silk tie (or perhaps madras) with a white PS and blue cotton or linen flat front tapered pants (not so tapered as the ones in the original fit pic).  If you go something this, you could switch to those BB white bucks of yours from before.

33OCK is overly kind, I think. If that bike were mine, I'd peddle, not pedal, it. The pictures aren't definitive, but it appears to have the dreaded insert-and-stamped dropout. Also a single-piece steel crank. And there is no getting around the fact that it's a Huffy, which is synonymous with cheap crap--generally speaking, one should never buy a Huffy bicycle, although they did make a brief and catastrophic foray into high-end bikes during the 1980s. Even the cycling team Huffy sponsored refused to ride Huffys.

It looks good, though, so you wouldn't have much trouble flipping it on CL for $50 or so. I say this in full knowledge that I've been wrong before about the market for secondhand three-speeds.

So I've been put on a thrift freeze till we get this reception paid for next week, that being said, here's what I picked up yesterday.
His and hers CT shirts, I thought that this was going to be my new favorite, being the only slim fit in my size, but fucking sleeves are almost an inch and a half too short. Didn't know CT made women's stuff.

And since I'm on a thrifting freeze, I thought I'd show you some stuff I picked up before I started posting here.
Couple vintage furs for my wife, this one was a birthday present. All were found in mint condition.

J Press tweed with the neck strap, thing weighs about 10 pounds, dated 1965



Vintage hunting jacket, rubber game pouch, shotgun shell holders in the pockets, dated 1977. I sold a very similar jacket on ebay a couple months ago for $500!!


Something my wife picked up for herself at a resale shop, wool with fur trim, very 60's Mad Men-esque.

Non of this is available, strictly for bragging purposes.

I'm rocking linen on linen in 2 different colors today. No different than wool. 

But it's for me. To ride.

Went to a new GW on the west side of Phoenix before a game, at first it was just Mickey Mouse stuff:

But, you may ask, why is this EPIC?

 

Looking at the buttons, they looked kinda like  plastic and I thought I could replace them with horn, but upon further inspection:

 

 

14K GOLD BUTTONS!!!!!

 

Their marked Lindsay 14K on one end and 14K on the other. A little sleuthing turned up Lindsay & Co. of New York http://lindsayco.com/ and their on line catalog. There are matching cuff links on page 20, but the buttons are on page 32. Called the company and the sales rep said that the buttons are solid 14K gold (have 2 jacket and 4 cuff buttons) and the retail replacement cost for the jacket buttons at a jeweler is around $700-$1000 each and the cuff buttons about $400-$500 each.

 

 

For some reason I don't think the buttons are gonna stay on the jacket! Will have to consult the wise one, SPOO, and see if the "clothing" value of the jacket with gold buttons would be worth more than the value of the buttons.

RLPL linen trousers, double pleated, these are fuller in the leg and fit really nice.

I've also got these bad boys, RLPL linen, tan and navy. Triple linen?
