Gone Baby Gone was an excellent film, though. Ben Affleck did an amazing job directing, though he seems to have (wisely) copped Clint Eastwood's just point and shoot and let the story tell itself approach.

"The Town" is one of my all time favorite films. Gone Baby Gone is also amazing. I got a lot of respeck for Ben Affleck, and his little brother is a pretty damn good actor as well.

There is also the matter with Jennifers that he did quite well in my opinion. As we say around here; Nice haul!

All but the bottom two. Same donor as the 15 pairs I had a couple months ago. He also donated several SCs and suits. 44r 34/31 I grabbed 4 SCs and 2 suits. Everything is in amazing condition. I will post pics tomorrow. They went straight to the Bay since they were all nonvented and I know most in here prefer vents. Boss, Tom James, HSM GT...all 3 button in lightweight summer colors and interesting plaid patterns.

The guy is president of a local advertising agency and must have a huge wardrobe to be donating like this regularly.

See link in sig if you can't wait to see them.

Well done, Capn, & that segues nicely into my latest find. After my 10-pair pants party of Zegna, etc., earlier this week, I went back to check if I had missed anything. I came across several more items waiting in the denim section.

z.JPG

Two pairs of blue stretchy cottons, one pair of an indigo cotton/bamboo blend (#301), & a final pair of navy chinos. All Zegna.

hiltl.JPG

Two pairs of Hiltl, a German brand with great thin material & a low, slim fit (& my size).

Then, an unexpected surprise: Authentic Hermes, with all the right details according to the guides I've read. True?

Agreed, poor, real poor scene.

But I am a total sucker for gangster / crime style films and there are not enough truly decent ones around. I even really liked Miami Vice, that should tell you how much I like those kinda films smile.gif

I have been waiting for a rip roaring classic like Heat for far too long now, never mind a film that matches up to the epicness of Scarface.

Snatch! Guy Richie's gangster films went down hill after that...
