I'd like to send this out at no cost to someone that's a regular contributor to the board here because I've learned a sheeeitload over the past year and a half from this thread alone, but there are several conditions...once you receive it you have to post a fit pic. Secondly, if it doesn't fit, you have to pass the favor on to someone else here that can use it. That be all.

I wish I was still wearing sport coats regularly. That should fit me nicely but as I sit here in my black shirt and khaki pants I think...what's the point?

In other news, I found this Zegna Soft shirt in what everyone HERE tells me is the worst possible color for me (light olive?) but it's the color that the "House of Cards" wardrobe folks are making us wear. I'm determined to dress myself for this show as much as possible but I'll be damned if I'll buy Staffords just because they're my size and the right color!

Then I found this PRL. It fits guuuuud!

I take my little victories where I can find them but if anyone posts a pair of 9 1/2 D US shoes and I act interested, smack me until I wake up.

Availiable-ish, meaning, if you offer a fair price, I will be inclined to sell directly.  Otherwise, it gets shipped off for the bay.

working on the haul 2

Measurements on the Samuelsohn's?

don't forget the (presumably 50%) cut that gets handed over to ebay consignors/selling partners.

Yes, if he is going to consign them (and pays 50% to someone, assuming), then it would be better to sell them fast and easy on the forum for 50% of ebay and everyone wins.

"cost + shipping" is more of a trade when I find something for you, etc.

Does this apply to purchases of barns as well? biggrin.gif

Yup (almost everything I have for sale in my ebay store actually)

So.... You guys were right. NOVA sucks for thifting. I didnt find shite, save 3 pairs of cufflinks ( you know me). However before I left PA I found another sweet pair of Hanover longwings in brown(10 EEE/E). A older Nordstrom tweed suit. A burberrys sc and a pair of church's loafers I think they are 9.5. They are stamped 95 f. Pics when I return on Sunday.

Did you see the Florsheims I posted today?

So, been trying to avoid thrifting and the temptation of this thread a bit, as there was a bike I've been lusting after for about a year or so that popped up on eBay. Was trying to conserve funds, but it ended over my budget, so the thrifting binge continues...

First, NOS Sidi bike shoes. Nearly shit myself when I saw them in the case. Then ffffuuuu.gif when I realized they were women's. So, off to the 'Bay...

(Eagerly anticipating: "That Hermes isn't real. The carriage on the tag has too many spokes," and other such arguments that always follow the posting of an Hermes tie)

More ties...

Both tweeds are going into the vault until winter time, UNLESS someone has some equally awesome tweeds in a slim 38R to trade.

Very vintage Sperry Top Siders. My guess, '50s/'60s?

That Hermes is kick-ass and the T&A is pretty sweet, too. Good score.
