Nice! I don't remember any other Thom Browne stuff in here.

Man, that's a cool shirt. I'd definitely hang onto that if it fit.

No, I mean from anyone. I'm amazed it found its way to a consignment shop.

TB is a really obscure and cool find. I found a TB white OCBD (though it didn't have the red/white/blue button placket like this does) for $20-something at the Goodwill boutique.

I've been out of town a lot (Grendel can thank me later) and have picked up more inventory than I care to state. There is a lot of Misc. eBay fodder (Boss, Brooks Bros.) but I thought I would brag about a few of the nicer or more interesting items. I do flip (with my Wife) to support my kids so I usually don't trade but I could work out a hook-up price if you totally loved something...I haven't photographed suits yet (6 or 7 Samuelsohns, etc. etc.), or dress shirts (some nice stuff!)

First, the oddballs...didn't know Hickey Freeman manufactured for Burberry but I liked these

Henry, nice haul!!!!

The one jacket is a "patch pocket"

^^^ I'd call it a "hacking / hunting jacket" on eBay

A hacking jacket is a riding jacket with side or back vents and slanting pockets, started in use around 1950.

What do you guys think? Any ideas on who makes these? I was thinking Alden (because it was made in the USA, but it doesn't have the typical "B/D" on the width). More Pics: Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Soles have the old BB font and then "New York" underneath. Thoughts?
They are 10D and usually I'm an 10.5 or 11, but I'm wearing them today and they feel fine so far. We'll see what happens around 5 o'clock.

Also, I know someone was looking for Madras pants for summer. Found these made in the USA patchworks in a 36 waist (looks unhemmed, NOS?)  Let me know if anyone is interested.

So you want to talk about thrifting Irony? I can't remember ever seeing French Shiners at a thrift, and in less then 24 hours from when I grabbed that pair from 46n2, I find these:

You gotta love it.And in size 10.5 C no less. biggrin.gif Available.
Also found these, pretty old and pretty cool. Never hear of the maker (anybody care to chime in?), but I usually grab neat old shoes just for the hell of it if they're in good shape. Also available. Size 10.5 D maybe? Just a little too big for myself.263

Paging Mr. Brianpore, XS Falconnable made in Italy mustard colored zip up cotton/ nylon windbreaker. First item by Falconnable that I've ever picked up, mostly because its bad-ass. PRL braces.

Fendi tie, fake? or just really old. Tag differs from the other one's I have.

Sike! Pretty cool green seersucker woman's blazer. Unlined, un-padded, natural shoulders and fucking 4 button surgeon cuffs with horn? buttons. Size 4 but looks small so hopefully fits more of a 2 so I can give it to my wife.

Any of you size 42L guys looking for a pretty nice navy blazer with gold buttons for the upcoming summer? HSM Gold Trumpeter for Nordstrom. Available.

And finally:
467

Sorry, it's really hard to quote on an iPad. Furthermore, I'm using my mobile connection in the middle of nowhere to post this.

The shoes are an awesome find.

I also love that yellow rain jacket/windbreaker/whatever it is. Great color!

Thanks for all of the suggestions on route 1. Our favorite has by far been route 66. It's a lengthy trip, but some unbelievable things along the way. It's one of those trips you'd do over in a heartbeat. Another personal favorite, and I was surprised by this, was going north from new Orleans through Mississippi. The is a scenic highway (6_?) that was great. Old plantation homes and great views of the Mississippi river. We'll be over for 3 weeks from the end of August through mid-September, but we haven't hardened the details yet. Great suggestions from all!

It looks like there were some great finds today, I especially liked that red/white/blue shirt.
