Not so much ties, but I finally got around to taking pictures of these two NWOT (BB cut the labels and donated a bunch of stuff to a local charity) cummerbunds in black & white glenplaid and houndstooth...

Don't get me wrong. The man can play the shit out of a guitar and has good taste in fashion. But are we going to be saying that John Mayer has some sort of untouchable reverence in 30 years just because he can roughly do the same? If you want transcendental guitar virtuosity, check out John Fahey, Robbie Basho, Sandy Bull, Jack Rose, and James Blackshaw.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
They're definitely not perfect...A good amount of toe scuffing and some cracking along the sides, but they were relatively cheap, and I'd never seen this line before. Has anyone seen these before? It's pretty odd...There doesn't seem to be much about them online.
Also, doodz, does anyone know about Church's "Masterclass" line? They're definitely vintage, and from what I can tell from the interwebz, they are pre-Prada-purchase, and were higher than the "Custom Grade" line . This is the only used completed listing I can find on the 'bay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trksid=p4340.l2557&hash=item43ae48a254&item=290686804564&nma=true&pt=UK_Men_s_Shoes&rt=nc&si=PXC0mqWKKRnuSl5o37AhAl6HvHM%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc#ht_842wt_1163, which is very , but those are in much better shape than the ones I picked up. Anyone in the know about the relative quality of these (or even a breakdown of Church's designations in that era), info is much appreciated.
As long as they fit
