Nice score on RRL jeans. I rate these highly, shame no fit on me.

================================================================
Talking of jeans, seller on eBay flipping Zilli jeans as if they were candy. Trouble is I could not get round to bidding because .....

I have issues when a seller with low FB plonks 10's of pairs of extremely high end jeans and has a seemingly endless stock. Anyone have any opions on sellers like that - i.e. likelihood of authentic vs non authentic?

Help a fellow out who is semi obsessed with high end jeans nod[1].gif
http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Tags-ZILLI-Light-Blue-Jeans-1-2K-NWT-TAG-SIZE-42-/280859316677?pt=US_CSA_MC_Jeans&hash=item41648511c5

I am pretty sure those are not authentic, but I am no "Zilli" expert. My hunch says if it is too good to be true ...

Judging by completed listings, this guy has a steady supply of Zilli. Did not know Zilli were on the counterfeit radar, so I will reserve judgement until I receive better info. Until I do, I keep my mouse away from the bid button.

I would check the inside of the shoe, it will tell you what year they are. I would list them on eBay Nike challenge court tennis shoes McEnroe Agassi .

I had these and the previous and subsequent versions when I played tennis in high school. I was a huge McEnroe fan.

^^^  It's true, there is a lot of good stuff going on in the second-hand scene up here.  My wife and I made friends with a couple of guys who own a vintage store and they've been inviting us to go with them to the weekend, monthly, & quarterly markets around different parts of MA.  I'm personally looking forward to going to Brimfield in May.

^^^  Great haul!  More RLPLs in one fell swoop than I find in a month!  Are either of these available?  Sizes on these?

Man, that is a smoking nice tie. If I didn't have 200,000 of my own to sell I'd make an offer.

+1 love that tie

Still have yet to find Kiton in the wild. One of the only things I havn't found yet frown.gif

Thanks for the tip on the suit. Unfortunately it doesn't fit me. I was hoping the lack of pleats was a sign of some sort of newness.

100% not saying the suit  is "OLD". It's a really nice pickup, but just not the most current model..

On to ties. Oh, there's a "boutique case, you say? Great, please unlock so I can check it out. .... Really? BB makers for $15? Unimpressive Nautica? Th. Pink (OK, now we're talking) in decent colors (yes, do continue) $25?!?! Damnit, let me outta here with my proxy shirt, pants for my tailor and broken dreams. I'll just check the "lesser rack" on my way out. OK, these are nice. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Wait, WHAT??? These are on the NORMAL tie rack, and that crap is in the CASE? Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

All but the Brioni are available. BTW, I thought the Brioni was Trump when I first saw it HAHA! Oh, speaking of which: They'd put a NIB Trump in the boutique case. NFC.

And what's that over there? A boutique case for suits? Why, yes, don't mind if I do. DAMMIT! Srsly? Ancient Burberry for $300?? C'mon, dude! Ima censored.gif and smack.gif and don't even get me --- AND THERE IT WAS. CHECK ONE OFF THE BUCKET LIST Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

MY EFFING SIZE! But it was another MOTHER EFFING ORPHAN! Tore $hit up looking for the trousers, with NO LUCK. May go back over the next couple of days to see if it turns up. Now, I passed on one of these once before. NOT AGAIN, MY FRIEND. KOPPED! OK, so it's got a slight snag below the left pocket, but I don't care. It's MINE! ALL MINE!

It came at a terrible price, though, my friends. All this tomfoolery made me late to put the kids to bed. And the wife was (understandably) displeased. I may have to lay low for a while. And hopefully find a way to make this all turn into a nice dinner for two.....

 cheers.gif

Nie tie haul out of the "reg" ties

Kick Ass Brioni pickup!!!

I got the same reaction a few weeks ago on a pair I found...werent even my size (perfect for thrifted shoes pictures), but cant let nice trees just sit in crappy shoes...

I picked up a pair of awesome Bison HS Trask 3/4 Boots from TheWGP a few months ago. They have turned into one of my fav pair to wear. Thanks again WGP!

FINALLY got around to cleaning up those vintage Alden for BB black shell cordovan cap toes 10 E from a week ago.  Another member dibs-ed them so NOT AVAILABLE at this time.

eBay Etsy 20121.jpg

^ I think that from the font used in the lower right hand picture, they are from before BB started to brand everything "Peal & Co."  But that's pure speculation on my part.

Super rare midcentury modern furniture in mint condition purchased for a pittance? Are you sure you aren't Frenchy?

I've had a Beomaster 2000 in the trunk of my car for the last year with the hope of getting it up and running again. The thing feels like it is made of lead, did they charge by the pound or something? Even the remote feels like a brick.

I don't suppose any of those RLPL are a smaller size? I've also got a pair of those camp mocs, been beating the shit out of them for the past few months, they hold up really nice.

Woah, that is very awesome.

In other news, does anybody ever find size 12 shoes at thrifts? Every store I go to seems to only go to 11, which is fine or Spinal Tap but not for footwear options.

Not sure if there's any sarcasm in there. My detector is broken. Need to thrift a new one.
Nice haul!

Yeah, the wink.gif at the end... wink.gif

More interesting to me is the lack of interest new members showed - didn't look like anyone even did a search!

Where do you find this stuff? Estate sales? Thrift stores around here never have good furniture.

EDIT: Nevermind... answered above

If you want I'll proxy... Tell me your measurement ranges and if they're in that range I'll pick 'em up. They're not boring staple colors though.

I constantly find shoes sizes 12-14, mostly wingtips.
