I found an olive DB Versace in a cloth that feels like flannel.

I've never seen Versace in the wild in these parts. The quality seemed really good. Is it the real deal?

Yep, the best they had to offer at the time. Resale is probably going to get you a hundo at most now, but try some good old fashioned mannequin pinned shots to help you out smile.gif

Hope you are an American hustler who conned his way into the most exclusive university in England to pursue the girl of his dreams. Those are the only guys allowed to wear varsity coats at Oxford.

i am distraught. i finally decided to got to a record shop in town and get a professional opinion on the value of a neat 5 piece vinyl collection from the 40's that i picked up from a thrift for $2. while walking down the stairs, it slipped from my hand, and the entire leather binding ripped apart. i have seen similar collections sell for upwards of $600. whatever this was worth, it's now a fraction of that.

appreciate the recommendation though. i may peel myself off the couch and give it a shot.

Also, passed on this brand new 40R Coppley SC today. Would have picked it up and let out the sleeves, but the missus vetoed (apparently too "Don Cherry-like" for her taste). I can pick it up for a proxy if anyone's interested and it's still there. FYI - it was selling for $40CAD, and is half-canvassed.

I have nothing against the guy. Glory to him. Do not, though, try to buy something from me to sell and act as if you are asking a good price for a thrifting brother. patch[1].gif
offer consignment and let me think about it. that is the honest way to go.
