I had a decent run today finding 2 items both in my size.

The first item is a Fiume Argyle sweater sz 52 Euro - these are relatively expensive at retail and are pretty good quality.

Now the second item is a Mystery Navy NWT Sz 50 Euro De Blasio (?) Pant made in Italy. The construction on these pants are great and it has a really nice weight to it. However, I've never seen or heard of this brand. I did a google search and it came up with no results. Anyone else have an idea about this particular brand? Thanks.

Found a really nice Levis x Billy Reid Workwear tan cotton twill blazer/coat. Amazing details on this thing. Also scored 3 more Martin Greenfield MTM sportcoats from 2004-2005. Added to the sale thread.

I passed on a NWOT Borrelli shirt for $20. Someone did everything in their power to strip the branding from this shirt. No label, top Borrelli collar button removed with a cheap plastic "Ecko Unltd" button sewn in it's place, Borrelli crest logo thing label removed from rear of the button placket and the LB side gussets removed. Only reason I could tell it was a Borrelli was the handwork, thick MOP buttons (minus the stupid Ecko button) and the remenants of the Borrelli crest label on the back of the button placket. Such a shame....

This is one of those instances where I wonder how on earth you decided to call that NWOT.

Got any pics for the Billy Reid? I'm starting to fall hard for this guy's stuff. There were a pair of chinos on sale at Union Made that fit like a dream, but I can't just can't justify $105 on a pair of casual pants at this point.

Nice score on the shirts, TheODGuy.

A pretty nice find today. A very lightly worn pair of RL Polo Alligator penny loafers. I'm pretty sure retail on these was around 2 grand.

The shirt was in a discount store which is how I knew it was NWOT (everything in there has shop-wear at most. Some items still have tags, some don't).

Here are some shots of the Billy Reid. Got it from the same store that the above mentioned Borrelli was at. The inside lining is actually a button-in canvass work apron! Leather straps, metal hardware, etc. This thing is amazing! Almost makes me want fall to roll around so I can wear it!

Damn, man. Nice find on that. I was wondering if it was that jacket.

What kind of whacked out discount store puts ECKO buttons on a Borrelli shirt?

And for that matter, what kind of discount store has Billy Reid? I want to go to there.

Three burning questions:

(1) Who would do that to a shirt and why and can we please see some pics?

(2) I thought working sleeve buttons are the lone province of Nice ****(TM)...yet I found some on this awesome-ish herringbone SC from....'Izod Luxury Sport'.

(3) Saw a killer western style SC from...Kenny Rogers !!! Absent were the sometimes annoying breadt pockets; just two large pockets at the waist, the tops shaped according to that westerny look. Dark wool. It looked and felt amazing, but -- is it worthless?

Yes, the Borrelli. That is just so weird a store would (apparently) try to pass it off as an Ecko.

I do try to use colloquial, regionally appropriate grammar when possible, but I'm willing give the last bit another shot:

Kind sir, *may* I view your altered Borrelli?

Aaah, gotcha. Haha, guess I didn't understand what you wanted pics of because I thought I had mentioned that I passed on the shirt. My bad.

They weren't trying to pass it off as an Ecko. It just had a generic price tag of $20. It looked like wherever it came from, they tried to remove all branding possible and took off the Luigi Borrelli button on the collar and replaced it with whatever was laying around which probably was a Ecko button.

Bizarre. If it was my size I probably still would've picked it up, who cares if no one else can see it's a Borrelli, it's quality so I'd rock it.
