1st post, found this thread a month or so ago and read the whole thing, some great info on here. I've been trying to upgrade my wardrobe over the last few months, in my late 30's and felt like I need to start "dressing like a grown up", so to speak, and this thread has really been invaluable for doing so without breaking the bank. I know its been mentioned before, but reading the whole thread is invaluable for finding quality items at thrifts. Thanks to everyone who contributes!

Had a few decent finds last weekend, so I thought I'd share.

Found my 1st RLPL- navy linen pants sized 32 but let out to @ 35-36 (my size), got lucky someone gained some weight!

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

1st Brioni item as well- cotton "cannes" model chinos- my size as well (36)

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Found this John Varvatos Star USA sportcoat- grabbed it b/c it was interesting/different, just about my size (I vary from 40-42 depending on brand) but a little big-not sure if I'm going to keep or not. Peak lapels, and wire in the cuffs lapels, and pocket flaps- strange-definitely more streetwear style!

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

My favorite, just in time for St Patricks Day (as some just mentioned above), a green/black houndstooth pattern(?) w/ blue stripes Turnbull and Asser sport coat- my size (42)as well,

I spent an entire year of HS listening to nothing but Zeppelin... Ahhh, the memories

Honestly, I hate people who do this. If I see something somebody has hidden, I'll put it back on the rack and give somebody else a chance to buy it at the current price.

16 1/2 guys....I came across an Eton wrinkle free in gray. Really cool shirt. Only thing I found wrong was a small ink spot on the right sleeve. It has lightened up considerably. If there is any interest I can send you pictures once it is finished in the wash.

Nice find, but looks too much like pajamas to me.

I saw this yesterday too, but thankfully it wasn't my size. Otherwise my wallet would be hurting and I'd probably be in the doghouse laugh.gif

Wow! I can't believe someone else remembers that clip from Blow Up (let alone someone who remembers that movie)! The song they play is called "Stroll On" and is amazing.

My personal Zep albums are 1-3. IV was pretty good and is a classic rock staple but I think for that reason only it's fell back a few notches in my book. I hear Stairway to Heaven at least once a day on the local classic rock radio station.

For anyone who hasn't seen the clip, check it out:

Welcome aboard! Nice finds! It seems you're in a great area for thrifting if you're finding Turnbull & Asser tailored stuff as well as RLPS and Brioni. Refreshing to see a new poster/member who isn't coming here to post giant detailed photos of polyester Christian Dior ties.

aaah a jew,get it now that i sounded it out.as long as they dont thrift where i thrift i dont mind them :)

heres a frenchy classic

give me an example...
i live in toronto for 7 months and 3 in poland and 2 in france of the year.
also im of polish origin, when and how long were you there and give me an example.
fact is i have seen more jew hate in Canada then poland.
fact is jews are universally hated in all corners of the globe, why do you think that is?
do you think one day there was a decision to just pick a people and go with it,its generations of experience with these people and basing a factual opinion (whatever it may be) on those experiences
