Whaaaaaa........ wow.gif

That's an epic find! Pics??

It's been so long since I've found any decent vintage stereo equipment (especially turntables) because everyone and their brother knows the stuff is decent money to resell or they're getting (back) into vinyl. I used to be the only guy digging through the crates 10-12 years ago. Now I'm accompanied by 3-4 guys at least when new records come out. LPs also used to be 10 to 25 cents each, 50 cents was pushing it. Now they're 50 cents on the low end and I've seen prices as high as $5 per pop.

Do you have a picure of the tag, as I've still got 5 Zaffagni items, so I could compare it with what i've got?

Cheers

Bose...you need some better speakers. I've got a pair of B&W's I'm selling unless Nataku is finally ready to pull the trigger on them. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

All of my items (4 suits and 1 SC) have labels similar to the one below with the fabric label similar to your one:

I hope this helps?

Thanks for your help Clint, you are correct about the quality, it was superbly made.

I have a suit with the same logo, always wondered where it came from.

If the suit had a vent (or two) in the jacket and I wasn't so completely broke, I would really be making enquires about it.

I have several Saint Andrew items aside from the ones I've already mentioned.  A few Saint Andrews branded SC's, as well as a couple of RLPL items and I must admit to liking most of them a lot.  Excellent find.

I was going to keep this as secret as possible.  However, since you've asked for it smile.gif

They do come up rarely at good prices.  I was fortunate enough to pick up the 5 Zaffagni items I mentioned above (pre-owned, but in decent condition 8/10) for less than £300 (That is two, 3-piece suits; two, 2-piece suits and one 100% cashmere jacket).

Bose to speakers is what Hugo Boss is to suits. They aren't bad, but you pay a premium for the "perception of quality/name". For $1,300 retail there are a lot of other options speaker wise I would have considered.

Since the poster above me thinks Hugo Boss is a crappy deal at retail, how about someone takes this Boss Cashmere/Silk sport coat off of me for a steal?

I hate finding jackets like these, because I always buy them only to realize with frustration that my skin color STILL doesn't work with tan jackets...
