Any idea how these fit? Would you be up to Proxy a pair in a 36" waist?

Bolded shirts may make this a very worthwhile investment. If Dior label is just Dior on a silver tag, that would be worth $50+ second hand (if Dior Monseur or Chemises, then not so good unless for personal usage). If it is a nice shirt, recent, post pics and size and people here, including me, may be interested. Slimane era Dior is very collectable. Ralph Lauren Purple Label is always a good find - again post pics, if it rocks the house, most here would be interested if it is their size.

I generally leave the other labels staying on the rack. I only pic up if they are cool and for my personal usuage, otherwise .............

The only Dior that is worth picking up is Dior Homme. If it's Christian Dior Monsieur (usually made in the USA), it is best left avoided. RLPL is top notch. Gant, as a recent brand, has reinvented itself quite nicely. However the older stuff is all over the place and not really worth picking up, imo. RL polos are a staple type item for a lot of folks and you'll see them at almost every thrift store in the US. I don't pick up Le Tigre, but the stuff seems to be of ok quality. Levis is Levis, dependable enough clothing. The only thing that you have that is flippable is most likely the RLPL shirt. However, if the stuff you picked up fits you well and you are happy with it, I think you did ok.

The Dior shirt has a small silver label that says "Christian Dior" and a label above it that says "Le Cachet de Dior"

Also forgot to list an Ermenegildo Zegna button down that I bought.

I had actually never thought of selling thrift finds on here, I was just buying for myself.  It's become a fun hobby, and I seem to have enough clothes for myself.  I may begin looking for things to sell.  Is there anything in high demand that I should look out for?

Dior a vintage piece, 70's or 80's.

Ermenegildo Zegna is a good score.

You ask an excellent question, I thought I had all the answers until I found people picking up Southwick and Harris Tweeds to flip lol8[1].gif

You cannot go wrong with (in Styleforum):
Ermenegildo Zegna, Kiton, Hermes, Attolini, Partenopia, Battistoni, Tom Ford, Ralph Lauren Purple Label / Black Label, Isaia, Belvest, Luciano Barbera, Bijan, Brioni, Finamore, Charvet, Borrelli, Loro Piana, Cucinelli, Turnbull and Asser, Thomas Pink + so many other brands and sub labels I cant remember but recognize when I see em............

On eBay, fashion brands do well, i.e. Gucci, Prada, Gabbana, YSL, Versace, Zilli, Mcqueen, Dior Homme, Bottega Venetia, Lanvin, Givenchy, Burberry, Stefano Ricci, Thom Browne just to name a few

There was a Turnbull and Asser shirt there that I was about to get... didn't know the brand.  Is it worth anything?

it looks like straight fit to me (though it said "slim-straight"). PM Stewie, he asked me the locations so he could come grab some next Monday, you should PM him for proxy. I didnt buy any for myself tho, so I cant be certain on fit. And of course, you can message sellers online (I saw a few via google) and ask for specific measurements on the pairs they own.

Oh yes, and we can add Dsquared (D2), Stone Island, Diesel, True Religion jeans as well.

If it is a nice looking shirt in near mint condition, I see no reason why it would not be worth up to or past $30. Worth a pickup.

Frustrating afternoon today - four stores, but only the first one produced anything, and only two things:
Nom de Guerre l/s polo collar sweater
Brooks Brothers leather suede jacket, size Small - not super recent, but still. Pics tomorrow, it's actually pretty cool looking IMO.

Dont think the flip is going to be that hard. It is Saint Andrews. Just going to put that Saint Andres and RLPL in the title on ebay which should help. Really nice quality suit and has a nice pattern also. Should get pictures and measurements taken today and listed in my Suit Megathread.

What are the measurements on that BB suede jacket or are you keeping it? Might be interested if its a true small.

36R in top brands are difficult to find sometimes and people will always be interested! smile.gif
