I thought so at first but didn't see another word that resembled Harris. I hate these hand-written cursive makers marks.

Nothing at my local TJMaxx today and also struck out at the thrifts. Since I am looking to raise my MC casual game, I even ventured into the mall to see if the after Christmas sales might yield something nice at a decent price. I was wrong. It even looks like they stopped making my go to winter casual pants: Levis 505 cords. Oh well, I've got a load of Land's End Canvas on the way so we'll see how that turns out. It gets mixed reviews here on SF, but keeping my fingers crossed that it works out...

All white people love The Wire.

Best show ever made with Breaking Bad a close second.

I just got a few shirts and sweaters (cardigan and ribbed neck). I like the shirt cut in the waist and chest, but the arms are pretty slim. If you're current sizes are a bit blousy, you should be happy with the cut if you got your normal size.

Was just at the Lands End Inlet last week and saw a lot of Canvas stuff. It's pretty nice stuff for the price.

Stopped at a GW and saw nothing good except this Southwick sport coat. I'm not sure I'm crazy about it, but for $9 I thought I'd take a chance. The label suggests that it's from 1999. It fits me like a glove, but I'm wondering if it looks dated. What do you think?

I think that looks fine. IMO Southwick is one of those brands that does not stray far one way or the other with their styling.

New looking Versace ties today at Savers 24 bucks. I did not even know if they were real. One was priced 4.99 but when I tried to purchase it the cashier notices Medusa head and refuses to sell for that price. I do not even like them so did not press the issue. Same day at Saks 5th outlet new ones are 35ish!! How about that!

maaaaaannnnn you guys are seeing crazy stuff in your marshalls/tjmaxx - I don't know if there was some of that and it was gone at the local area, or if it was never there - the "runway" stuff that makes it to mens is mostly D&G underwear, "vince" sweaters made in china, yaddayaddayadda. $100 Robert Graham shirts = not hot. $100 nwt Kiton shirt in my size = I'm scrambling to find cash to Paypal you. ^^;

Thrift stops today gave up nothing. Only even near miss was a recent side vented Pal Zileri suit that one armpit was absolutely DESTROYED on, inside and out. The other armpit was pristine. How does that even happen?! frown.gif
