It would be quite depressing to have the only Henry Poole I'll ever find go for $9.99 because I listed it at the wrong time and everyone is broke. lol.

I have been asking myself that same question. This is my first Christmas selling on ebay

Nice. I Would have scored 5 brioni sport coat today and 2 suit, only if I step in the store 15 minutes early. Yes, I saw them in that old lady (about 60 years old) cart. She decided to live a couple ravazzolo on the rack which I pick up with 3 brioni ties.

If the Borrelli are 16.5 they may have come from the same donor as the one I picked up a few weeks back, also for Wilkes Bashford.

Great finds.

Manofstyle, how did you know that was what she had in her cart? Sounds like you still scored though.

Can't miss the look of a Brioni, it's the lapel and boutonniere for me. Plus the lining is a give away. Her cart was still in suit/sport coat isle when I showed up. She had a bunch of sweaters in there as well, buy the look of them I m guessing they are Missoni. Oh well, I am ok with my score...

I wish I could remember how I've done it in past years as I'm trying to figure out the same thing. laugh.gif

I've noticed that the past month, used stuff has been selling for less than usual and NWT stuff has been doing well, (with some exceptions like my $30 NWT solid blue RLPL pie baldy[1].gif Christmas shoppers maybe? I hope people got lots of Christmas money this year to spend as I can't really afford to hold off a few weeks without listing stuff.

Owch!

Awesome scores, Mainy!

I headed out a bit today. Snagged a very recent 1/4 zip Dale of Norway sweater. Sz L. 3 recent Hugo Boss suits (nice, side vented, etc, but not worth photos) and this gorgeous pair of charcoal flannel striped odd trousers from Polo RL. Usually Polo RL isn't that impressive to me, but these stuck out from the crowd. Flat front. Made in Italy. Cool details like buttons for braces on the outside waistband, pocketwatch (?) pocket, button fly with concealed double button closure, cinch back and single rear pocket. Slimmer fit too. Size 38 - obviously the waist is a bit big on me but they aren't cut like MC Hammer pants. They feature a nice, slightly tapered cut.

What is that, a wool overshirt thingie? I've got a similar, surprisingly nice shirt from the US Military. Looks good, whatever the brand. Fit pics in order.

This Maus & Hauffman is so out there. I found it today and I couldn't resist.

That's awesome! I'd totally rock that at some point over the holidays.

Ha ha, very nice. That reminds me of this book we used to read at summer camp; it was published in the seventies or something by the same folks who brought you The Anarchist Cookbook. Anyway, it's full of similar, totally wicked ideas. (Like sticking fake address labels on porn mags, then leaving them in the kid's section of their local library lookaround.gif).

^^ Haha, I had that book a loooong time ago. Bought it from an ad in a Soldier of Fortune magazine. Paladin Press, IIRC did all those books. I have a couple still around, somewhere but most have disappeared.
