Great looking shoes, in perfect shape too. I believe those are Crockett & Jones if I remember the nail pattern correctly. RL polo still sells made in england shoes.

I'm on fire this week. Today:

NWOT Navy BB Black Fleece Sportcoat (It's a BB5 or 46R, so too big for me. Will go to B&S)
Brioni Sportcoat
Oxxford Sportcoat
Turnbull & Asser tie

Items I passed over included several Oxxford orphaned suit jackets and a Barbera Sartoriale (Attolini) orphaned suit jacket. Leaving those behind made me very frustrated, but I just can't bring those home anymore. What a shame, the Barbera by Attolini was particularly nice, but no pants = no chance.

I think the donations are heating up in this neck of the woods.

A great week for shoes, indeed! I just scored some cordovan oxfords - my first pair! They have some wear, but still look great. From what I can see on the inside, it appears they were made in England - I'll take a pic & pop it up so someone can ID 'em.

So jealous. Size on the Barbera? Would you be willing to proxy?

Posted over at trip-A C, but last week I I found three pairs of shell longwings.
All my size or close enough to fit.

I gotta take a picture as an accurate description will be hard. It's of "Roma" vintage, but in excellent condition. Has enamel buttons. I like it. 40L

As I recall it was a 38R, dark navy. Could easily be worn as a blazer I suppose. I'll proxy for you for sure, it would be around $30 with shipping - sportcoats are tagged $17.99 at this store. But they're having a 'buy one get one free' sale for the next little while. So maybe we can work something out where it's a little less for you. Let me know if you're interested.

When I said it was a good week for shoes a few posts back, I was referring to myself as well. Worn once, twice at most, Brooks Brothers suede cap toes. They're 11 D, so you'll see them in B&S before long. Probably from the same donor, a pair of lightly used BB deck shoes, also size 11. I've been looking for a shoe like this and after seeing this pair, I may actually (Oh, the pain!) go pay retail for a pair in my size.

Wow. That is an incredible find. Shame they don't fit you (or me for that matter).

Well, you don't have to hunt for pairs of socks in the morning...

Heartbreak. Saw a NWOT RLPL orphaned tuxedo jacket, pockets were still sewn, if only there was pants or even if it was my size I would have probably picked it up.

However, did pick up a sweet Marc Jacobs jacket.

Church's Bench Grade "sueded pebble grain" captoes--$1.

These are a curiosity to me because I'm not familiar with this label (and the bench grade in Church's) and the way the style numbers appear. The other thing is the size--37! Is it possible these are women's Prada/Italian made but branded Church's? And what is this leather--sueded pigskin or kid? Any ideas?

Pair with tartan trousers and hit the Christmas/New Year's party circuit.

That RLPL tux sounds awesome - if it wasn't too too expensive I bet it would've been flippable even without the pants since RLPL is one of the "people would buy a dirty used rag with that label on it" brands. Well, maybe not that far, but it's up there... Anyway, as others have reported, I think perhaps the luck is beginning to turn a little here too. I even passed on a HEAVY Lanvin leather jacket that was missing the belt and had worn buttons. It was $20 and had lapels that could double for wings, so I wasn't going to take a flyer on it, awful pun fully intended. Today's haul: My first RLPL find in the wild, a tie but still exciting! Older Zegna tie whose design I actually like Recent Zegna sportcoat - not an orphan, an actual SC for once! Canali dress shirt, 16.5, available Etro tie Recent Brooks Brothers BrooksFlannel sport shirt, L, available J Press seersucker short-sleeve sport shirt, M, available Land's End Harris Tweed cap, 6 7/8-7, available
