They seemed like they could be suit jackets but from all I've found seems to indicate they just did jackets. Some glenplaid and a few pinstripe. From the tag info it looks like they were made by Cantarelli. Might check them out again, they were $8 a piece I think.

I'd be interested in any of the glenplaids in a 40R likely...

Anything in 42L or 44L? Or even 42R?

I miss my days of living in the cities, such a great place to live inlove.gif

I have one in navy, and would be interested in one of the tweed/checked ones. I better pass on that one, though. H-F Flight Coats are fantastic.

Lewis & Thos. Saltz Pure Cashmere overcoat. Pretty much mint.

Ok went back and grabbed 2 of the 6 jackets due to my current budget. All were marked size 50 and 51. Didn't get as great of look before but all but one had surgeon's cuffs. I'm assuming Nataku grabs the rest of them. Both are size 50 and come close to fitting my US size 42 regular.

Not sure about the shoulder fit on them yet, so if anyone's interested in making an offer at least 1 will be up for grabs,

Hmmm... my best single thrift of the summer... if you exclude stuff at discount or trades, it'd have to be these:

That linen RLPL is still in my closet. The other four shirts just sold on the bay for almost $200 total. Not the most epic find, but eh, I was mostly happy about the RLPL in my size.

Speaking of epic... the batshit coat has arrived. Sadly, it's horribly overcast out - I'll take some better photos once the weather cooperates wink.gif

While $20 is pricey for thrift store shoes in my area, you didn't overpay. Those have many years of life left in them. Vintage Florsheim longwings are high quality shoes.

Speaking of Facconable, I just picked up a nice brown/white striped spread collar shirt with shiny little MOP buttons in 18.5 regular. Totally not my size, but I'd be down for a trade or cheap sale if anyone is interested.

It seems like you guys like to share the love, so... To any members from Melbourne, Australia, I was at the op-shop next to Caulfield Uni a couple of days ago and saw a pretty great DB suit. Tagged as a Harrolds, it was a navy with light grey pin-stripe, in a Loro Piana Super 150s wool. The size was quite large, marked as a 44r, but the pants would have to have been 40x28 (yes, a very short inseam).

Only $25. Drop in soon if it sounds like it's for you. I can't be bothered buying it and trying to flip it!
