All 6 are around a 42 L with 35 x 32 pants. They are also on ebay for $9.99 with no reserve! Thanks!

It certainly isn't. Not with tags like that. 90s, probably.

I disagree. The length of the jacket seems to be the least of the issues. The shoulders are a bit too wide, and the sleeves are too long. I think with those adjusted the jacket length itself would be fine. It seems to fit ok through the torso, but it's always hard to tell with these phone pictures. $70 on alterations is not that bad at all.

I recently find myself buying no name cashmere sweaters with no tags and they still sell for a profit. I do think that you might of over paid at $30 but if you feel that you will wear it more than once then it is a great deal. As for being 40-50 years old, that can be further from the truth as well. Suits 40+ years old do not have labels that recent with the lettering that you are showing in the pictures. I hope this information helped!

This is true.

Hey guys I appreciate all the input, when I get it back next week I'll post some fit pics. I agree that the shoulder are too wide. The pants fit quite well though, so worst case scenario I can wear those. And if I go on a winter bulk perhaps the jacket will fit as well.

500

Can't wait to see what you made out with! When I spent that much at a thrift (only three times), all were very epic hauls.

cheers.gif Still taking pictures (got the first 7 things up though). My 'jackpot' might not be as amazing as some of the others, but I was thrilled. So far posted 2 Harris Tweeds, 1 BB Golden Fleece,  Brioni Sweater, NWT PRL Long Sleeve Polo, PRL 100% Wool Sweater, Hickey Freeman Shirt (like new), none of this I was too excited about except the Brioni, but the stuff sells decently here and on eBay.

Warning: Spoiler! Small Pictures Inside (Click to show)

A man who takes a 42R should never wear a 44L. It is absurd, pure and simple. Sorry you haven't a clue what you are talking about and you are misleading the guy who obviously didn't know better. The jacket was too damned big for him. He got caught up in Thrift store hype and made a terrible error with that purchase. Despite wasting the money he did already, he would now have to have the length corrected because it looks completely stupid as is. Can I be any gentler? Please stop giving bad advice. This jacket is now hacked amd should be tossed. It was never a great jacket (suit) in the first place. 83glt....slap! I am suprised that you can't see the obvious problems with this jacket.. fight[1].gif
