I thrifted a pair of Luxottica Alan a few weeks ago, not sure if it's vintage but pretty sure it's dead stock. Paid $98 with my insurance to get prescription lens. Got them back today and pretty happy.

Found these PRL Pants, 100% wool made in Italy, flat front unhemmed...... but whats with the button? These were made for US Army or just a decoration?

Also, not that I am an expert on dress pants but are these ok for flipability....Wool/cashmere blend, pleat front, cuffed hems. Yeah, I know...they not pressed yet.

1. no such thing as no return policy on ebay unfortunately.
2. already stated this, but this guy is obviously an idiot.
3. i'd really love to but i really don't want to have to eat the international delivery charges if he has it returned to me and opens a case.

I've had a buyer refuse delivery before. It sucks. According to my Postal Carrier, the USPS waits until they have a full load and then ship it back. It doesn't matter how it was shipped originally (First Class, Priority, or Express) it all comes back at the same speed. She said it would take about a month to get it back. She was right on. The package the buyer refused (in Korea) got back to me exactly one month to the day from the delivery date. Fortunately, the buyer agreed to cancel the transaction. He also sent me money for the shipping because he felt so bad/embarrassed about it. I've since added a disclaimer that I mark all items as merchandise and customs are the buyer's responsibility, but still ship internationally.

PROTIP: Adding a spam jpeg doesn't give you unlimited rights to immediately thereafter spam the **** out of your ebay listings.

At the very least, edit my quote out, since I have no desire to be associated with it....

How is this even possible???

FYI - A box arrived today from a SF member with 11 items. Got home at 6pm, took photos of all 11, edited photos, and listed 4 of the nicest items by 9pm. How do you expect people to send you stuff if it takes you weeks, let alone MONTHS to list stuff?

HOT Hugo Boss Tuxedo Black 1 Button Satin Unvented Mens Jacket Pants US 38 R

RARE Brooks Brothers Donegal Tweed Plaid Sport Coat Blazer Jacket Mens US 44 R

HOT Oxxfod Clothes Gray Plaid Red Chec Sport Coat Blazer Jacket Mens US 40 41 R

$995 NWT MISSONI Orange Labe Wool Cotton Sport Coat Blazer SLIM EU 50 US 40 R

a) just trying to help you out so you get more responses and a good back and forth conversation going about ebay stuff which will get lost in this thread. Also, it helps other members out when you talk about it in the ebay tips and tricks thread so they can read about it and again not get lost in the thrift thread.

b) my reference to ebay items was "SPAM" as clearly marked and was due to the response to DM7's comment. NOT out of the blue for no reason

carry on...

...especially after hypocritically shaming another dude for basically the same bullshit, in a less masked form.

1) Return policy means nothing
2) Ebay sides with the buyer if he does not have the item in his hand
3) Expect negative feedback after you are forced to return all his money

This is the WRONG forum for this conversation!!

That's gold! I'm sure some weirdo would pay good money to have **** pants!

@MzHammer: Great outfit! That sportcoat is beautiful! But Joseph Abboud? Really? I'm quite surprised.

@GMMcL: That Huntsman jacket is luscious! I'm in love with those white buttons!

Went home for a couple of days. Man, I just realized how ****** thrifting is during the spring/summer. All the Goodwills in San Francisco stop putting out suits/jackets and focus on shirts.

Anyways, still managed to find a couple of goodies. Nothing spectacular though.
