I always thought this but I found one recently. Did some digging and it seems that most Big E truckers jackets only got $20-$50. Blanket lined does better, though.

Ahh man, that's a bummer...Did you sell it? What size is it?

Referring to my earlier post, here's a pic of what it might look like.

28 inseam sounds so short, though. you're 5' 6" or so, right? that will barely touch your shoes. I'm 5' 6" and I am usually good with a 30 inseam, though I prefer 32.

Maybe Brian has shorter legs? 2 inch shorter than yours?

Not sure its necessarily that easy to determine inseam by height, as everybody's proportions are different. For example- I'm 6'1" and a 31" inseam is just fine for me.

Welcome to the thread. As you hinted, this isn't the place to ask "How much can I make selling X?" Check eBay completed listings to find the info you're looking for. For any other eBay stuff, there is a separate thread that HansderHund started.

Looking forward to seeing your brag-worthy finds posted here.

Thanks for the welcoming and helpful post. I will check/post in the other thread for ebay info.

Hey everyone, I just came back from Goodwill. In the book section, I saw a book called "how to tell if an item is worth a flip using eBay completed listings."

Does anybody know if it's worth a flip?

I found an awesome looking Brooks Brothers chocolate colored corduroy jacket that is in immaculate condition. It's a 42R by the label but the guy had it tailored (tailor receipt was in one of the pockets). He may have had it taken in and the sleeves shortened. I wish it would've fit me but it's a bit too tight and the sleeves are too short by about an inch and three quarters. I wear a 44R or 44L but sometime can wear someone's 42R jackets. It looks like the jacket Al Pacino wore in the Godfather after he got beat up and was sitting in the chair talking to Sonny.
I got it and would like to trade it for a nice tweed SC in 44R. I'll take pics this weekend and post them Monday.

I will end up looking for one in 44R. These jackets look fantastic!

I'll have to go back and look. This place doesn't really sell anything vintage at all but there were no tags on this thing. Not a whole lot for tags on the inside so I couldn't really figure out what it was. Pretty similar to that picture though.

Hey, I found an off -white shawl collar DB with matching pants (suit) that also was just a little too small for me. Probably would be a 41R or 42R. You could match it up with some black slacks and do the Casablanca/Bogart thing. Let me know if anyone's interested.

WANT IT!

Price? Measurements?

Will get it tailored down to fit.

I'll get pics of it next week. I'll trade for a tweed jacket 44R (I'm into tweed).

I'm pretty sure it'll still be there (can't say where it is).
