Got a few items today: - Pair of Zegna/Incotex black pleated pants. A bit large on me, but will do with a belt. Only thing is i'm not sure I'm digging the rise on them. - Pair of wing tip Bostonian Impression. I've been really wanting some shoes in any color other than black. Maybe not the best, but the 4 bucks spent will keep me from buying another pair until I can find a good deal on some. Passed on: - about 5 Hermes ties. Really old and odd looking patterns, nothing I felt I would ever wear.

I've been keeping my eye out for braces. Haven't seen any nice ones since the time I passed on these made in West Germany ones. My only concern is that most pants these days don't have the buttons for them.

I thrifted my first pair of shoes today! They are Florsheim Imperial. Size 8 1/2 M. They don't fit me, I'm a size 14. If anyone wants them, PM me. Here are the pictures....

a one-button, surely custom made FU sportcoat. Amazing-feeling wool [cashmere?!]. $8

For $5, VG condition Church's Custom Grade "Consul" black captoes. They were pretty recently Topy-ed or something similar, which is perfect, since I was looking for some black beaters. $5

Unworn Dexter burgundy short wings. Made in the USA and literally not a scratch on the soles. Yes, at $18 it's not a massive steal, but as with the Church's, I'm just looking for a stable of shoes for now. Will upgrade as I go. These will serve me well casually.

Ooops, should read more carefully! What are you contacting the seller about? Have you received an invoice? Maybe you should just pay and see what happens.

Passed on a "NWT Zegna" tie today. I almost ran out of the store with it, because I love the Zegnas I already have, and it *did* have the name. But it didn't feel right, so I took a closer look, and I noticed the fabric tag was all in Chinese. Maybe that's why the original owner dumped it at VDP!

No, you read it write. I edited it afterwards. The thing is I dont want to pay for it. I had two windows open and I accidentally bid on this one versus the one I wanted. Why was I watching the item? B/c I've the exact shirt and i wanted to know how much I could get for it.

french

Great finds!!

Right on! I agree having also thrifted a similar pair of Florsheims.

frenchy makes me feel bad about my thrift skills as often as I go, and as many stores as I go to, I should be getting stuff like that. Maybe it's just not out there here or I don't look hard enough
