Picked up:

Mint pair of brown suede Ferragamo chukkas
Pair of Church's
Few pairs of AEs
Zegna by Incotex trousers
Few handfuls of ties incl. a bunch of very recent Versace scarf-prints, Brioni, Charvet, Faconnable (made by Breuer I think), Etro, Ricci, Talbott BOC, Bullock & Jones, etc
Lots of dress shirts (a lot of Zegna, Brioni, Talbott Bespoke, etc)
100% cashmere Saks Fifth Avenue overcoat, camel-colored
Yeah, posts like this make me wish KC had a bigger high end retail base / less stingy residents.

Forgot to mention that one of the Brioni ties has a day-glo motif of ancient warriors on foot and on horseback, which are bordered in metallic gold. Will post pics.

Yes, I'd like to see that. Nice haul Vman.

Just picked up what appear to be vintage but barely worn Florsheim Imperial wingtips for about $25. I liked the medallion and color . . . hope they look as good in person . . .

Philo,
Glad a forum person got those. I think you'll like them. They are barely worn and look even better in person. I'll get them in the mail by Friday.

Ha! Awesome - - I had no idea I was bidding on another forum member's item, but I should have known . I've been looking for a nice pair of Florsheim's for a while. I'm looking forward to wearing these! I'd also like to pick up a pair of Kenmoor's soon as well. Any idea how old these are?

A similar-colored pattern of greek columns sold on ebay for $110, used (I wasn't the seller).

That looks like its been taken from a famous Ottoman document with the regalia and victory welcome to the Sultan methinks. The Italians are incredible in their attachment to history in ties.

1/2-off day for my local shop is monday

Found out that was why the Lobbs were so cheap...it was half price day. They should have been $4.

My first time thrifting. Picked up various Brooks Brothers, Polo Ralph Lauren, and Nike Golf shirts which isn't terribly exciting compared to your gems but excellent for upgrading my wardrobe at $3-5 a pop. I found this Hermes tie for $5. It's 50% off on Monday but I didn't want to risk it disappearing for $2.50. While taking pictures, I noticed a small discoloration but it's barely noticeable Wonder if it can be cleaned out? I think this is about as good as it can get in my area. Lots of crap.
