Hit about 15 stores this weekend, with some moderate success. Nothing great. In addition to the below, also found a vintage suit (dated '53), an Oxxford suit, and an O'Connell's tweed jacket I haven't taken pictures of yet. Planning on most of it going to Ebay, but if you see something you want let me know.

Wait. APC is good?? I pass that stuff up all the time.

Picked up a pair of LL Bean mocs for myself and a pair of Maine Hunting Shoes (L7, going on the Bay).
You can send any small APC my way:)

Thanks to everyone for the PMs. I'm moving soon so nothing is available at the moment, but I'll let you know when that changes.

That means you should want to get rid of more than just what you posted. Let us help you clear those closets!

WHAT CAN I SAY

Hey, that sure is a nice haul! /slowplay

By the way, there will inevitably be some people here that don't recognize all the brands, and thus aren't sure if everything you posted truly is esophagus-shittingly awesome. To those people, I say: Yes.

And because the football season came to a crashing end yesterday, time to look forward to spring training.
Late 80s Fred mcgriff Toronto blue jays jersey

Would have preferred Roberto Alomar or Kelly Gruber but this will do until I stumble upon one of those.

Noice. Although for my money Jose Canseco would be more topical these days. Or 'Rod' Ford.

So... through various channels (thanks, Spoo!) I got a message the other day from one frenchy, letting me know that he'd left a pair of Wings + Horns hi-tops at a nearby thrift.

This makes for a difficult choice. On the one hand, hey, W+H shoes. Sweet. On the other hand, if frenchy has been through here recently, there's probably no point in checking anything else. If those shoes are gone too, the whole trip is bust

Well, I decided to go anyway. The shoes were gone. But I did get some middling stuff that just happens to fit me perfectly.

BB ESF OCBD, BB ESF BD, T&A tie, NWT Club Monaco OCBD

Then, picked up this suit today. Not sure whether to keep (for a flip) or return. Can anyone advise?

On the one hand...

Kinda dated lapels...

Imperfection on the chest, more noticeable from farther away...

Unvented and ewwstained...

Double pleated pants...

Few imperfections that could probably be razored off.

On the other...

So, what to do?

So I had a whole bunch of posts quoted and I x'ed out of it. :fu: :fu: :fu: :fu: :fu: :fu: :brick: :brick:

So, in short:

los_face: I found a crazy shirt by Avignon back in 02 or so. Red with contrast pick stitching all over. Wide/tall collar. Actual shell buttons. I mean thin, raw shell. It was insane. Sadly it's been long since redonated.

Capn Glad to hear the leak was fixed!

eddievddr10: That single haul has more impressive stuff than my local Neiman Marcus. Incredible. Well done.... :worship:

Mainy: Excellent finds as always!

Wait. APC is good?? I pass that stuff up all the time.

:fu:

Went out at lunch. My best one-store haul. Ever

40/41 shorts, I apologize in advance for what is going to happen. Pics tomorrow.

:lurk:

Question for you guys: I saw a genuine croc belt Saturday but passed because the goldtone buckle was dated and ugly in style. Is real gator/croc always a guaranteed flip, or was it a good pass?

For me its always a kop. If its wider the better, and the bigger the better :uhoh: .If the buckle sucks, buy another one that has a nice buckle and have your shoemaker swap them for like 10 bucks.
