Thrift fit for today.

Pendleton shirt, AE belt, Worn Brand jeans, Born boots. Everything thrifted except the boots (they were from a Scratch and Dent sale at REI).

Had to get out of the house (knew I had to clean the snow off my car so it wouldn't ice over, wanted to do something), so went to what thrifts were open on one run I hadn't done in a bit. Nothing major, my first Sulka bought though (passed on one at a different store on this run before, beautiful but way too damaged). Left to right is Sulka, PRL wool, PRL.

The lighting is terrible in my room right now, so flash ruined the colors a bit. Sulka is tan/navy stripes (with small light blue stripes), and the regular PRL is this grey/green color with grey paisleys and bits of pink. Not sure how often that'll get worn, but I dig it. I really like the wool PRL though, big FU contrasting blade. I've wanted a tie very much like this one (maybe not wool but *shrug*) for a while.

Left another Sulka (damaged), a bunch of old, stained BB Makers, and a Hardy Amies that felt like the not-shite HA (but the pattern was just a bit too much for me). Also saw a meh Burberry suit at $50 in a GW. :paranoia:

Just picked up this Fray shirt. Never handled any of their stuff before but I've heard them mentioned on here. Tag states handmade in Italy with MOP's. Seems nice enough and I liked the pattern. Whats weird though is that it has two breast pockets. Something I didn't notice until I got home.

^^^^^ Woah, just did a little research and it looks like retail on Fray shirts is $600?!? Is that right?

Attolini. Check out the first page of this thread. Pretty easy to tell between Attolini and St. Andrews, both of which you should memorize because they make for others more than themselves.

Nice finds, but is that an orphan? Is it patterned enough to be worn as a SC?.

Most likely Orphan... Never found matching trousers though. Also, the only jacket I've ever seen marked as "1 piece" at this thrift store.

I'm about to go pick up some thrifted items from my tailor including a pair of Incotex and a PRL Corneliani hacking jacket. Even though focusing my time/money on getting things tailored isn't as fun as digging through racks of used clothing, it's still a real treat to be able to wear a fine piece of clothing that fits perfectly for the first time. :nodding:

Thanks man! I was suprised.

Well deserved. Your fits in WAYWRN have been on FIRE lately.

Personally, I find it almost as exciting as finding the item itself. I get that same rush of aesthetic pleasure and whirl of possibilities thinking of pairings. Then I pay the bill, and I'm :cloud:
