Are we talking craziest flips? Or just the sheer quality of an item? I have a submission but I believe it will be trampled by a casual monday DM7 day

i left it open-ended on purpose. flips are good, but so are rare things, so are vintage things, so are staple items in your size that you ended up using all the time.

just to be clear: DM7 IS ONE OF THE JUDGES. HE WILL BE SILENTLY JUDGING YOU AND LAUGHING AT YOUR FINDS. BUT HE WILL NOT BE COMPETING WITH YOU GUYS.

Things are getting ugly here. Found out that a lot of the stores I frequent will not only be pulling items aside for their boutique store. It used to come from one single store. Not only that, but they will have more "picker shoppers" out there grabbing stuff too. Come on.....
Not only that, but one of the few really good stores is doing some serious hoarding. Just scraps are hitting the floor. Today I also witnessed a regular customer getting treated very rudely there by whom I believe is the new processing manager and an employee (cracking jokes about them publicly). Employees in general at this store are pretty rude. They don't acknowledge your presence, they push and shove and are just overall unpleasant. It seems that the better the customer you are, the worse you get treated. :(
I did manage to scavenge one nice item from a store I've almost stopped going to.

Is this the same store where the employees pull out stuff for a friend/person paying them to do so?

Thanks!

I use a Nikon D40, just recently purchased for cheap $$ and trades from Dustinhimself (Dustinmyself).

The light box is a professional CVS (color viewing station) unit, thrifted for free?! It is actually my submission for the 2012 Cheapie awards.
Here are some pics of it...

Oh god that CVS is fierce. You must live in a very art-oriented city. I have been meaning to make one as I noticed such a crazy difference. Nice trade Dustinhimself! That camera is gem. I always like the Nikon DSLR. Thanks for letting me know I have been meaning to upgrade from my Nx100.

Hate to be snobby camera guy....but it's all about the glass you're shooting with
