^^ Are old Eddie Bauers worth getting? I've come across a few items with the same tag as the old ones but I just left them since they only produce mediocre stuff nowadays.

Today's haul:
...
RLPL linen
700

700

...

Paid up quite a bit but they were NIB and my size. Now to do some serious breaking in.....
700

700

Is that RLPL linen black? And do you think it runs a bit small? :)

The Red Wings are hawt!

Well, last night I wandered into a thrift store I had never noticed before.... was 99% filled with garbage... but I did find!

:) And it fits me just perfectly!

Condition is quite amazing, even had the extra buttons still attached in the little baggy - I am not sure it was worn more than a couple times.

Do you think they might have shrunk? I was kind of interested, myself.

Haven't found much lately, but here's some stuff

Leather backpack

North Face A5 shirt

Shoes, some polish brand, Kazar

Not a superfan of him but nice book that was pretty cheap

First pair of Acne jeans that I've found that I like.

Really like this thick wool/acrylic DB cardigan, fits great

And an older find. Are these rare? Do people collect them? Not worn, early eighties? Seventies? Puma Blackstar

Blast, I've been looking for something identical to that! Excellent find.

But a 9 drop at 40R? What was that guy shaped like?

Beach buff bro, beach buff.

Does anyone know if GW does any kind of central sourcing or do the donations collected end up at the store they're dropped off at? I seem to find constant trash at some while others seem to always have a bit nicer selection.

Just curious

Damn Nissan Dealer in Baltimore wants $950 to replace my cracked radiator. I looked up the part...and I can get a new one for about $55. Total bullshit.

Decided to have the car towed home (50+ miles). The cost is $235. No brainer.

Wanted to square up with the Dealer for the service of looking at my car to identify that I has a cracked radiator (which I told them when I dropped it off) - $62.50.
BUT they don't except credit card transactions over the phone. They told me the towing company would pay for the charge and then charge me. I called the towing company to verify. NOPE, they don't do that. SO, I had to leave work and drive 2 hours to pay the bill before they would release the car to the tow truck. Damn that was stupid.

End Rant

I don't know if there is some sort of waiting period after signing up before you can use their services, so this may not work, but if you have to get a tow, it may be cheaper to sign up for AAA or something with membership being like $100-$150 and have them tow it. It'd be cheaper and you would have more tows in case of emergency.

It depends. I know there are central processing facilities, and I imagine they delegate to stores based on demand. I have found that I can eliminate plenty of GWs from my route simply because it's not worth the time, effort and gas money to drive there - as they have never turned up anything worth buying. Granted, there's always the possibility that I could miss out on something, but at the end of the day it wouldn't be worth the sheer number of times I'd have to go there in order to find that one occasional item worth picking up.
