Speaking of G-1 bombers, here's the Ralph Edwards I found the other day, which I believe is original.

I am visiting Charleston, SC for this coming holiday and wondered if anyone had an experience with thrift scenes in Charleston. I always had the impression of that town as where Old Money of the South lives, or where rich old people go to retire. So I am hoping there is decent thrift scene in that town.

It's always interesting how one store can sell items priced high weeks earlier then they bring out something that is way cheaper but better condition.

Still in their "boutique section" but less than a couple jacksons...this one makes me happy...though torn between keeping and selling:

Nice quick flip on this jacket. Woolrich 60/40.

So...to keep or to flip...talk me into selling these! Never been worn.

And a xmas present for my son, the tax attorney!

Made a stop while running errands today. Five minutes before closing, found this:

"Where there's smoke there's fire" held true. Kept looking, found this:

Holy crap. Two minutes until closing and found these:

"Store is now closed" announcement. Had to check the end of the rack one more time on the way to the register, to make sure I didn't miss anything. Bam:

Best part: the Finamores, Oxxford, and Isaia are 16 35s and fit excellently. Not pictured is a nice Zegna button down, also my size. :bigstar:

Holy big E's. If those are actual vintage and not LVC, you should probably considering selling them...

I went into the "Boutique" section of the Goodwill today, and of course it was full of Nautica etc., but then I realized that to a lot of the people working/pricing the stuff at the GW, Nautica really is out of reach for them.

Amen. The GW boutique shop here that opened a month or so ago hasn't made a dent. The boutique is filled with straight-up crap, the main stores keep churning stuff both flippable and wearable. No difference whatsoever.

+1. Deets on if they are LVC or the real deal? If they are actual vintage, that is truly a rare find.

Dang! What a haul! I'd go back when you have more time and turn the place upside-down. :slayer:

Pfffffff......lucky! Ours knows their stuff too well. Takes the thrill of the hunt. They even know what Thom Browne and band of Outsiders are. WTF...
