My latest shell reclamation project. Pair of tired and neglected Aristocrafts.

About 3 coats of leather conditioner, inside as well, a solid half-hour to remove much of the polish build-up, and a shine. Much softer now and more flex.

Small Trafalgar haul & a bunch of pants.

2 Silk

3 Non Silk

These Polo Cords match the Orange ones from last week, same store.

Leave No Seersucker Behind.....actually left it last week but was half off this week.

Again similar to the part last week, same size, just different style and not NWT. Half Off also!

Here's another public shout-out — still effusive, but much less verbose (on a deadline) — to @rhz5001 for an outstanding trade that netted me two great-looking Ben Silver ties.

That reminds me, shout out to snoogz for the 2 shirts. Thanks!

Good work there.  What did you use to strip the old wax?  Renomat?

A few of you may remember some of my posts from a month or so ago where I moved into a new city with my girlfriend with minimum wageish jobs (for now) and then we got a kitten. Well that kitten got sick last week, and after a cool $1000 this weekend at the vet with more to come, we found out we're most likely going to have to put him down in about a week. This is some of the most fucking bullshit I've ever heard. He's 16 weeks old. He probably won't be the only one at that shelter either. This cat was one of the best things to happen to our relationship in a long time. Anyway, I fucking hate to suggest something like this, but we're pretty low on dough right now, so if you see anything you like, and want to make me an offer on any of this stuff, that'd be really helpful right now. TheNeedMachine, clearly not buying those records anymore.

So sorry to hear about your cat. It's amazing how those guys become part of the family. Best of luck with your sales!

Thats why I was experimenting on a $4 pair of shells.

Nice mini-haul... First thrifting since I got home.

3 decent Hawaiian shirts and a USA-made Patagonia Synchilla fleece vest

Monogramed chest, and when trying to remove, made some holes in the fabric that were irreversible.   Its a shame as it was some very nice sea island cotton.
