Been a really hot thrift week for me so far *knocks on wood* - icing on the cake was today...

Let me start with yesterday tho:

Found this fantastic Brioni cashmere blazer (unfortunately unvented but still awesome)

AppleMark

Next on the rack was this minty Kiton navy tonal pinstripe.  Pants nowhere to be found and no other really awesome stuff there so I left.

AppleMark

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Thanks to others' comments in the past on here to check back a lot as they sometimes slowly roll out donations, I decided to go way out of my way to find the pants today.

Well those people got it right - unfortunately no luck with the pants for the Kiton but 24 Stefano Ricci ties will do the trick!  These guys look basically unworn

Also ended up with 2 Canali suits, a couple pairs of pants and this awesome RLPL navy cotton zip sweater that fits me perfectly - made for a nice afternoon

I found my first Suit Supply full suit today (along with a Brioni orphan and a couple other things). Was a good day for a quick stop off before seeing the parents.

Well folks, I haven't posted in this thread much lately since the end of the school year was busy and most of what I've picked up is your standard fodder.  As Ice Cube said, Today was a good day.  It was unexpected too, figured Savers would be thin after last week's 50% off sale, but nope!  I also had a 30% off card, so super bonus!

1.) At the dry cleaner - Vintage Yellow BB Blazer with gorgeous gold colored buttons.  If the 4 specks of brown stains don't come out I'll just harvest the buttons.

2.) NWT JAB Blazer.  For those of you who know me, it's my size, but luckily (?) a tad, tad, tad, tight in the chest.  I'll probably sell it regardless, I don't need new clothes, I'd rather buy 5x used for the same price from some of you folks!

2.) Ironically, last night as I was browsing through the thread I thought man, I've still never found something with a ticket pocket.  The fact that it's made in China and mostly of Polyester makes me sad, but seemed pretty unique, especially the inner lining.

More pics of the Alan F. (Click to show)

3.) Another irony, I was also thinking last night man, I've never found something 100% Cashmere.  Sadly, it's too big in the chest, it would have filled a need in my Fall wardrobe.  Anyone know anything about the maker?  The union tag has red numbers, but no little R, so 1949-62ish?  I think there's some hand stitching around the collar, and it appears to be a 3 roll 2 if that exists for overcoats?

Hey! Here's the more interesting stuff of late. This stuff is headed for the 'bay, but if you see something you just absolutely can't live without, ping me and I'll see what I can do.

HF Linen

Ascot Chang Oxford (POP!)

Filson Logo Jersey Polo

ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS J. Peterman Linen Shirt that is tagged "Small" but is a 15x34 that fits me like it was made for me and if it leaves my closet the day I die it will be TOOOOO SOOOOOON!

Bullock & Jones ribbed front linen

Cool Zegna Sport wind/rain jacket

Three of my favorite BB ties (in terms of colorways) of all time

RADICAL Pendleton Vintage Farm Coat/Shacket Thing. I posted about this months ago, but finally got new buttons on it and took pictures. I date it around 60s-70s, but if someone can get more accurate than that, or refute it, I'd be open to hearing more. Only damage is a tiny little moth nibblings, no holes. Lots of hand stitching on it.

Cool Orvis hunting jacket. It's got a few small rust-looking stains on it, but they're tiny.

Does Grenson make these?

^ Radical is such an underrated adjective. Need to re indoctrinate that into the vocab. Along with MONDO.

Passed on a Filson shirt today. I'm so sick of thrifitng shirts unless it's some steezy swnd grails.

Forgot to mention I found an older Tommy Hilfiger Houndstooth Check SC but as I was pushing my cart I was struck with a horrendous onion odor.  I stupidly put the jacket right up to my nose and took a whiff and almost lost my lunch in the middle of the store.  I contemplated trying to have the jacket cleaned but decided it wasn't worth tainting the rest of my cart...

I appreciate the feedback though! It's a really neat hobby and this is a great community. Glad I finally had something to contribute

Love the true thrifts, I've bought me some CD, at 0.99 it's a cheap lesson, it is total crap though.

DAMN

SKIPPY

Good lawd.

Great hauls erryone, I have been busy at work, but will probably spend the next couple weeks saving up for a huge post vacation post in August.  Couple items of interest: spoilered so you can freely ignore :)

Some pants (Click to show)

Usually pass, but not NWT for <$8 ea

Those LP cotton pants

some shirts, that is all. (Click to show)

Vintage BB Madras and Orvis cotton.

PZ

Picked up CHEAP

Took a chance, unknown brand with high retail, fabrics are super nice, nothing too interesting about the construction, but solid, and well done.

New Scotch & Soda

Been picking up more EZ lately, only the current (I think) label.  This one feels new.

The embroidered waves on this are cool, bonus: 2XL

Probably find some more interesting shiz when I clear [some of] the backlog this weekend.

Long overdue HUGE shoutout to @Randomore for the hookup with the J. Crew Alden suede chukkas. I was drawn out of the showroom the last couple of weeks, and have been in the field for days and days.  Wore them first day on the job, had no intention of beating up such a nice looking shoe, but they were so comfortable, wound up wearing them for about 2 weeks straight.

Another to @TJGent87 for the Bonobos unstructured blazers which are still in my pile of "to be altered" that is about 2' high on top of my dresser.  They're so nice, but I've had no time to go to the tailor.

Sorry if I left anyone out.

Ah, so you're the one who beat me to this PM!  :D.  I'm glad they're working out perfectly for you!

According to this website, your Pendleton is 70s-90s era. It looks awesome.

So many great finds in the last couple of days. You guys are lucky, persistent bastards! Salut!
