10 EE - they appear to be the Bristol model, except the punches are not circles but rather diamonds - pretty cool, I can't find any pictures to identify. I had planned on posting them here or on eBay when I return from a trip later this month, but if you are particularly interested I could take photos tomorrow evening.

Jim Thompson silk short-sleeved summer shirt, mini-elephant print pattern, was new with tags: Silk tie with woven sun-and-moon pattern: I like this one - a "sun-and-moon man" is old slang for a confidence trickster, I think. Also found a pair of NOS (probably sixties/seventies) Walkton black plain-toe bluchers/derbies. Photos are in the pipeline...

I'd like to know myself - it's unmarked, except for "100% Silk".

Regarding my cashmere coat find:

It is not marked, but I would call it a 44R. It fits me well. I'm going to hang on to it for now. I have other coats I'd get rid of before this one.

I didn't have to come in to work until this afternoon today, so I took a quick spin through a Goodwill. Found some Zanella pants that look to be pretty recent for $7 and a Brioni dress shirt for $6. The shirt was unimpressive for a Brioni, but still pretty nice.

I've been finding Zanella pants fairly frequently, but they are almost always triple pleated. I used to buy them anyway, but now I am getting more particular. I wonder how long they kept doing triple pleats? The ones I got today are double pleats.

I forgot to mention on my previous haul I also got some charcoal Brooks Brothers pants for $1.50. The store had gotten in a whole bunch of Brooks Brothers stuff, mostly ties and shirts, probably from the same person. Much of it was a bit worn so I waited for it to go to half price. The pants are in good shape though. The shirts were all gone before they got marked down. I got the tie I mentioned before and the other remaining ones were pretty ratty.

Went to a small thrift today that had a 1/2 price sale on clothing Picked up a NWT Lauren Essentials cream tutleneck sweater which I'll flip on eBay. Also got two Declic shirts, one a kind of denim blue and the other apple green FC. (Declic is a local high-end OTR brand, which normally go for $160 new). The blue one has a colour run, but is OK for round the house, but the green one is good for work. Total damage was $A14.

Good day for shoes at the thrifts. Found this pair of Johnston and Murphy Crown Aristocraft black captoes. $8. I know J&M doesn't get a whole lot of forum love, but these are very nice shoes, in wonderful condition.

Also found a pair of New Balance 992 running shoes. They are the current model with no signs of ever having been worn outside of the house. $11 retail is $135

Those New Balance look new...great model (I've gone through about 6 pairs)

I bought this tie for .25 along with some other Talbott and Bullock and Jones ties.
It is a H. Huntsmans and sons (London) Looked at their site and apparently most of their ties are bespoke but this was sold at Barney's. Not sure of retail. Seeing as I wear scrubs 6 days out of the week, I may sell this.

This vintage Lee western shirt that is pretty 'drugs'. Fits perfectly - nice and slim. From a thrift. Also got a Fred Perry polo - white with thin navy and red trim on the collar and sleeve cuffs. Made in England.

Found my first Kiton shirt (in my size, that is) and a Faconnable with an excessive amount of buttonholes. It had the normal button down collar, then the normal but not as common button on the back of the collar, and also had a buttonhole on the chest pocket. Is the chest pocket button purely ornamental or is there some obscure use for it?

It's just a decorative buttonhole.

Good find on the Kiton. Whenever I find something of that caliber, my heart stops for a second.

I just was lucky to score a deal with a fellow S.F'er who sold me a pair of essentially brand new Cleverly loafers that are pure gorgeous.
The reason I post this here, is the price, which was very much in my favor.
SOO, I very much recomend Singlechange, what a seller!
Oh, and he had shoe bags and the original box. If these were worn more than once, it had to have been for minutes in side. This is one of those times when someone on here makes the time trolling, reading, and buying things all worth it!
THANKS SINGLE CHANGE
