^ Yeah, ldb, not a fan of super low-contrast fits like that. Much better with a white, ecru, or light blue shirt. Tie is not my cup of tea, either - color is in the right ballpark, but the pattern makes it look kinda cheap, TBH.
Fit of the jacket and trousers is very good, though.
Thanks, it's one of those outfits you piece together as your getting dressed:

1: Wear HF gray slacks. Have black made in Italy belt (thrifted)
2: Feeling kinda casual, Nordstrom button down works with the slacks.
3. Maybe I should wear a SC, HF works, don't want three similiar patterns, rust tone is nice in SC.
4. Should probably wear a tie, but DKNY only tie that's solid(er) patterned, what the hell.
5. Black belt, black AE Grayson's

Off to work I go.

6. Post on SF, is this outfit out of whack?

Second the spread collar, probably go with pale blue solid pattern shirt with a slightly darker microdot blue tie. More conserevitive but this also somewhat depends on the "type" of job your interviewing for.

Thanks, I like this suggestion. I think I briefly considered it and was worried about too much blue.
I think in the end I need to chill and just try different things. It's been said before but just getting out the door with more than an acrylic sweater on makes most of us top of league. :D

Grabbed a very fall-ish beige/olive HF SC with orange/red, blue, and white check for myself.

Not a fan of the low contrast between shirt, jacket and pants... Maybe light shirt and darker grey or navy pants?

Again, appreciate the feedback, see above....

Did pick up a couple of things earlier, couple of firsts:

SHORT SLEEVE Zanella shirt, content tag faded out. Stiffer feeling fabric, probably silk, MOP buttons, true medium:

Traflgar, gotta have some Christmas braces, I don't wear them, available cost plus shipping (about a six pack)

Some recent finds:

Levi's made in USA (not available):

Helmut Lang Jeans (probably not available):

Rag & Bone Black Chinos (size 34, available--the button on the right rear pocket came off, but too nice to leave behind):

Faconnable cable-knit 100% cashmere sweater (size large, available):

PRL cable-knit 100% cashmere sweater (size XL, available):

The sweaters definitely made my trip, ridiculously soft cashmere, but sadly not my size.

You can probably shrink the cashmere sweater at least one size down. Have you looked into it?

Thanks, I hadn't heard about that, but I don't want to risk messing up the sweaters (plus, I need quite a bit more than just one size down).

Speaking of sweaters, I just got this John Molloy cardigan from an AAAC member ballmouse. I assume it's all hand knit, but I really don't know. Regardless, it's awesome, and he gave me a great price.
