NICE pickups!

OK. I bit the bullet. $47 shipped isn't too terrible, right? But I've seriously been looking for blackwatch for a long time.

Redwood & Ross store brand. Don't know who actually made it.

Looks like that bottom button needs some help.

That's sweet! I've been looking for something similar for myself for a long time now.

Those trees are nice. I prefer the trees with the knob at the top, they seem to be the hardest to find at thrift stores.

I've been looking for one too. There are a cpl on ebay now but way out of my league.... The thing is that we all say that ".... I will have this forever" but this time you really mean it. ... it will be worn 5 times a year tops.

After following this thread intently for months i went on my first mega thrift today, and after spending a fair amount of time checking the bay for random labels, i surfaced with some decent loot!

YSL tie

United Colours of Benetton Suit 44R

Savoy Taylors Guild Super 120's orphan 50L

And finally a seriously nice Aquascutum trench coat, absolutely no indication as to the model/size but it fits like a 40R and i think may be the Kingsgate design (rrp £700

) but again if anyone has any knowledge i'd really appreciate it!

All potentially available, if anyone does happen to be interested i'll be taking measurements properly tomorrow.

Make sure to ebay plaid or tartan with the green and blue colors selected. There are a few insanely expensive ones out there, but give it a little time.

38 L is a tough size, though.

I'm more of a 39L which means I pretty much have to get everything altered....

A few stores here are planning to have Veterans Day sales on Sunday (50% off everything, I think). Is it the same for others in this thread, and are you planning to go?

Off 5th? I thought about it, but it's annoying because sometimes the clearance stuff isn't marked, and you have to get a price check on everything you like to see if it qualifies.
