Now I'm really curious and I'm tempted to visit a nearby NM. to check out all the AC tags.

Thanks, Towers and catside, for the feedback!

What, exactly, do you mean by "untouched" in this case? I'm trying to understand.

Decent day for me:
- Older Brioni houndstooth sportcoat
- Sartoria Partenopea covert twill trousers (first SP I've found - checked that off my grail list)
- CRAZY-patterned red/black/gray houndstooth Oxxford sportcoat
- 1930s fedora in good condition that should bring a few bucks on Ebay or the Fedora Lounge

BB 40reg, photos don't do the color justice. What to call this material/weave?

Nice canali tie .. :slayer:

I saw a couple of those at the local Nordstrom rack a month or so ago- the fabric is really quite unusual on those. It just had a weird hand to it; not unpleasant, but unusual. Didn't pick one up because they were still charging ~$70, and I already had that spot in my tie wardrobe filled with a Campbell Argyll (Blackwatch with a white and yellow overcheck- makes a great tie).

Guess he means that they are in "as-found" condition. Pre cleaning type of leets.

Armani in my opinion is not such a bragworthy find anymore. Every time I ever found one and offered to folks, I have been unable to unload even for free. On eBay, unless a full suit and recent, it aint gonna kop much. Even the much vaunted black label is hit by having a largely dated / awkward design and most stuff I have found has been ventless making even harder to flip.

Dont get me wrong, a double vented Collezioni or Black Label suit in a nice pattern or color will likely fare well on the Bay and/or have some trade kudos around here. Everything else, move on folks, move on.....

Armani in my opinion are just not the brand they once were. Outside of Asia, its brand desirability is about as low as it has ever been. I consider an Armani find barely better than Boss to be frank. I at least have managed to swap or flip Boss here, but Armani, my experiences have been mostly negative.

I got burned by Armani and they hurt my feelings given the amount I have spent in the past on them and consequently made losses galore.

I feel like i've seen someone post about this before, but what's the brand that has the "SSSSSS" tag, white font on a black background? IIRC it was hugo boss something but i can't find anything about it online.

Let me preface this by saying, outside from getting an invitation for an afternoon of pheasant hunting in the country, this jacket will probably never get worn. However, I thought it was cool enough to merit it's own post.
Vintage LL Bean Norfolk jacket
Vintage BB unlined collar ocbd
Lands End navy knit tie
Vintage Stevens tweed hat
Dockers D1
PRL by C&J boots

edit: I just realized the bottom button is buttoned.

Taking this look over to the "Tintin" thread.
