I'm glad that wasn't foot porn after all.

How would you affix a heel pad to a shoe? I posted this question on the Shoe care thread, but got nothing. These heel pads that I have on are self sticky, but the sweat/heat made that sticky stuff wear down. Hate having a loose heel pad around when walking. I thought about Shoe Goo, but I don't want to ruin the AE model and logo when/if I sell them. Will Shoe Goo scar the leather? Thanks.

Both makers, from St Louis, were closely rivaled and related and eventually joined forces in 1911 to form the International Shoe Co (later Interco)

Roberts, Johnson & Rand, probably only worn a handful of times.

Peters Shoe Company, worn more than that, obv.

Never done such a thing myself, as you said, I'd be worried about damaging the shoe.  I'd probably just find a local cobbler and pay a few bucks to have it professionally done.

edit: nm I was thinking something with the heel itself, not a heel pad.

Anyone know who makes these?

Wes, those shoes are absolutely INSANE! Given the age, and given you FINDING THEM!

FOLKS, THIS IS WHAT THIS SHIT IS ALL ABOUT!  Current labels are great, but 100+ yr old items, is when the high kicks in!

I only thrift once or twice a week since my hunting ground is a 2h30 hour drive (5h return actually :D) but I just LOVE waking up and refreshing my **website not mentionned** selling Tab and just see the money flowing to me :o I'm sure it's even easier than sucking dic** for a living (:

IDK man, I'm pretty sure the latter is easier than taking hundreds of pictures with proper lighting, uploading, posting, and describing items...

Finally went to one of my favorite shop today and found some stuff you guys prolly would appreciate. Saw a bunch of stuff that I would normally pick up but I don't really thrift anymore so I left empty handed.

I'm not sure if this is the good Isaia line, and it's an orphan, and it's got a tiny hole in it, plus it's a 36R, but I had to grab it, because it's a cherry pop for me.
