My first thrift fit pic (I was hoping for better, but this will do). From a trip to the Met opera this weekend just before Sandy. I know the pants are a little long and everything's just a little off fit-wise (and wrinkly and misplaced after squirming around for 3 hrs), but I couldn't bring myself to spend money to lengthen the jacket and sleeves as I discovered significant stains on the jacket after I bought it (hence the odd buttoning...). Anyway, way too much explanation.
I'm not sure whether this was discussed or if you mean this when you say "odd buttoning," but that jacket is buttoned the opposite direction. It should be left over right.

OMFG, so tempted. Must.... resist....
(But agree: that be a suit. You find those pants, resistance will be futile)

No need to be tempted, I already sold it!

Here's a few odds and ends I picked up this week:

No need to return that Raf, it will net you beaucoup $$$ on the eBay. If you don't have an ebay account, I definitely recommend sending it off for consignment. Also that Polo SC, so sick! :slayer:

Sure you can! I once saw a neon orange cord SC from PRL, too small for me so I just left it.

Size? :hide:

I found a couple things today including my first RLPL (just a polo though). Pics and deets to follow. Off to the bar for now!

Would hold its own in WAYWRN. Well done sir.
Didn't Spoo tease some kind of super-mega-awesome item from a consigner, like 10 pages ago? What happened to that?
It is mega awesome. Pics are taken and need to be worked on, will post tonight/tomorrow.
Real, but just OK... nothing earth shattering.
Check out today's Put This On http://putthison.com/ Spoo hit the please blog about my items jackpot! They have showcased about 20 of his ebay items, great stuff! Including the lead picture of his
Edward Green Malvern Mole Suede Malvern Suede Wingtips Shoes 82 Last 9/9.5 NR

Don't want leave any letters left, Vanna White, can I buy a V?
I am humbled they included so many of my pieces! :worship:
Just a general note: 90% of you posting thrift fits need to see a tailor. Finding great stuff for cheap is awesome, but you just need to accept the fact that tailored clothing needs to be tailored to fit right, unless you get very lucky.

Nat, do you know anything about "White Stag" jackets?

I don't know White stag, unfortunately.

Are a lot of ski jackets made in Japan? Are most of them well made? I ask because you reminded me that I found one in the US. I don't know if it's for men or women as it was smaller. It seems well-made, but I don't know the brand.
