newbie haul compared to SF standards but my real first buying spree, everything's available except some stuff. 3 big stores in 6 hours :s

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Christian Dior made in France 43-17. Not sure if it's really a thing but it's definitely not a fake one from Honk Kong or whatever Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Cerruti 1881 Made in Italy - 41. Cool as fuck for a French guy, don't know if it's a thing here.

Burberry scarves. The blue one looks fake?!?!?

some ties

not sure if you guys know that but CL is pretty big in France

thought it was a thing... BURNED

NWT Brooks Brothers 43R

PRL 41R double-breasted but some fucker stole the golden front buttons -__-

Samuelsohn 46L. Me likey very much the pattern.

Loro Piana cloth 44R with no maker's tag. Love the pattern

Is that a vintage Valentino? Tag looks old! 44R

Canali 42R - looks recent but there is a mini stain on of the sleeves, hope the dry cleaner can correct that. Is that an orphan?!

Z Zegna 40R. Orphan?! :x

Avanzata for Harry Rosen 46L. Only a thing in Canada :p looks crisp though.

Those Burberry's look fake..... Those pinstripe jackets are orphans... prob would have passed on the majority of the other stuff also even if for you to wear but def if your looking to trade/sell.

I would have passed on everything there, but making lots of questionable purchases when you're starting out is kind of a rite of passage so don't sweat it. (But do lurk a little more before your next spree.)

^^i would have picked up the Corneliani tie. I've got several and they make the best knot/dimple out of all my ties.

I know that a lot of these stuff will be hard to trade/sell but as ChetB mentionned I'm only at the beginning ;)

Other big problem here is that most of the high-end stuff are not sold in my region, so definitely hard to find...

Thanks for the comments!

I'd have picked up the samuelsohn, but only because its in my size and the colors look decent for spring.

11 hours thrift and hardly anything to show for it. Drying up out there.

Spoooo. What month was this tie made? :nest:

Also grabbed these today.

hey all...what are your thoughts on the non-iron, slim fit BB shirts (for self, not for resale)?

i bought 3 today b/c i need new shirts at work and they fit quite well. im concerned b/c i had bought some at Nordstrom Rack about a year ago and the elbows blew out very quickly.

ALSO

passed on a MINT All Saints suit - made in italy. basically brand new, but pricey. i've seen it pop up a few times on here but really know very little. anyone care to chime in on this as well?

Probably Hickey Freeman made. Most likely a pass.
