Vivienne is good for womens. Not for mens. How do I know? ebay :)

In all seriousness, VW never "made it" with men's , therefore, not a good pick up

SOAB!

Ha, I was watching that all afternoon, it was $26 with 15 minutes to go. Went past what I wanted to pay but was a great grab for somebody, oh well.

Oh no, I know plenty about it, I actually have one of her stores within walking distance of my place, I was just seeing what everyones thoughts were on keeping it or punting, guess I should have been more clear. Nice to see you picked up those Rubinaccis, I figured you might end up with them.

Yeah those. I'm 34, I can't remember what I had for breakfast let alone a post I read 20 minutes ago.

Hahaha well all the same, thanks for leaving them! They're really nice, keeping one for sure.

RTC's thoughts on trading/etc:

1) Sometimes things bought in ones size simply don't work for whatever reason. If this was a huge bone thrown, then at the very least the seller deserves to be contacted to let them know that it just didn't work and you're going to re-trade or sell.
2) Buying something on the super cheap that's totally NOT in your size to flip is bleh.
2a) Caveat is if it's a trade and the 'seller' is happy, which is apparent because they agreed to a trade in the first place.
3) Once a trade is done, the items belong to the new owners and they are free to do what they want.

That's how I've been doing things on here. Does it sound reasonable to people? If something hasn't worked for me that I bought cheap, I tend to ask the seller if they're cool with me flipping it. If it's a trade, I tend to ask anyway even though I think the lines are more clear there.

I know most people are 'over' this, but I was just curious for some feedback.

Obviously if I suddenly start becoming interested in people's Size 46 XL LP Storm system jackets it's going to raise eyebrows because come on.
The one thing I traded for here and didn't keep, I offered up here before I sold it. Not saying you have to do that because what's yours is yours, but that's what I did.

No problem....it took me a while to find out what it was too; the font didn't make it easy. I was kind of surprised with how little they were charging; considering the quality they are; easily on par with my zegnas and canalis....I have a soft spot for wool ties too; that one you found is top notch

This.

I found one a while back and picked it up for the same reason. See spoiler below. I don't care what they cost, mine is spectacular, and if anyone ever wants to unload theirs on me, I'm game.

So.... it didn't take long for the itch to ... itch.

Hit nordys on way home. Surprisingly nice USA made wool challis for JW Nordstrom and similarly surprisingly nice Ted Baker linen blue dots.

Somewhat but not totally disagree, though certainly some pieces do better than others in the resale game. Having said that, most is not really my style, but I do have a thrifted VW shirt that I love, fits great and always gets compliments.
