I see that stuff everywhere and I always stop to look. Never heard of it before I started thrifting. Same with Markham of Canada and Forsythe of Canada.

about a dozen brands that consistently stop me.

These look fake, sorry bud. The tell on this one is that barcode label. All the 0's should have slashes in the center.

Astor & Black suit. This thing is AWESOME. Hand sewn everything, dual vents with a keeper, royal blue, burgundy paisley lining, the works. I just wish the lapels were a little wider. It's about a slim 40R, but the jacket is rather short at 30".

Is Tumi an auto kop? If condition is good of course. I passed on a huge suit carrier with wheels the other day, it was in good condition but priced at $60.

It's always dependant on price as well as condition. $60 seems to high ti me. In fact, $40 seems to high to me too. If you are asking because you would sell it, check the finished auctions on eBay and figure out what your profit threshhold is.

Check eBay and do research on the Tumi website to see what the "huge suit carrier with wheels" retails for. If it's a large piece of Tumi luggage, it's going to be very expensive retail. If in very good or mint condition, could very well be a nice pickup.

In short, do your homework!

;)

Also, if you are planning on selling it, don't forget to consider the cost/inconvenience of shipping oversized packages.

Excellent point. Tumi is a very well known brand, so you could also consider selling locally on Craigslist (pickup only).
