Wes, nice bagger vance.

You.

Just.

Wait.

In other news, I lost my mind trying to finalize organization of my haul and PM you. So instead I constructed these 100% ghetto, and also 100% free square holders. ALL of these squares were thrifted. Yes, those are binder clips slipped onto presentation binding, which in turn is slipped around a clothes hanger.

The level of ridicule I received from my better half? Priceless.

(Should I have staged this picture better so the ugliest ones weren't at the front? In retrospect, yes. Deal with it.)

Never attended a black tie event that I enjoyed. Except the dressing up part of course.
^Ian, if it is a 43-44R suit, proxy for me.

Patience, Luke. Patience! Wait for dat PM.

Ian - the golden fleece is always worth a pickup.

Smooth! Great find!

I am getting ready to send a few vintage pairs to get new lenses. I will let you know how they turn out!
Awesome! Yeah the lenses in these are actually pretty mint, just adhesive from the workers putting the tag ON the lens >.<.

Funny enough, I find most of my good pairs of sunglasses in the spinning sunglasses upper compartment, helps being tall :D

2- Serica Elite shirts - in the classifieds

1 - Barneys New York linen pants - my size.

I'm finally starting to buy things I know won't fit. I may try my hand at eBay. (The Disease begins, I guess.) Here are a few things from today.

Allen Edmonds McAllister, very nice 11D (but I'm a ~9.5).

A crisp Canali shirt with French cuffs, ready for some of Wes's cufflinks, tagged 43 / 17.

Canali sport coat, 3 button, tagged EURO 58. Way too big for me, alas.

Pal Zileri Concept sport coat, tagged a EURO 56 dammit.

Pal Zileri tagged EURO 54. I'm usually a 52, but I'm going to *try* to make this work (not recommended, I'm told)...

Canali Proposta, EURO 52L. Although I'm a 52R, I'm going to TRY once again to make this one work for me as well (or maybe I should do something less futile, like shoot myself):

Ermenegildo Zegna Su Misura shirt, French cuffs, cool but businesslike pattern and texture, but fits like an XL which is about 2 sizes too big for me. Plus it has a monogram. :( Although that can be removed using the needle and xacto knife method, it's work I don't want to fool with. It was only $3, though. Willing to send this to whoever wants it at cost plus actual shipping. Otherwise it becomes a chihuahua blanket.

And the obligatory Robert Graham shirt, sized XL. I will say that this is the nicest one I've ever seen outside of Nordstrom, although I personally couldn't handle this even if it was my size (M). People must give these to their husbands, sons, brothers, or dads, and then they sit in a closet for a few months until said giftees quietly donate them. One really shouldn't gift something as personal as a skeet blanket.

I passed on three pairs of non-unicorn Zanella trousers. Was that a mistake? Do they sell on eBay? I also passed on two Harris Tweed sport coats. Another mistake?

Typically. I've scored a couple nice 3/2's for less than $50, but that's rare.

Hmm, after looking at what some Pal Zileri stuff has sold for on eBay, I think I just learned that maybe I shouldn't have wasted my time on those.

I KNOW one of you guys knows something about Hudson Bay point blankets, maybe one of our neighbors to the North? What can anyone tell me about this label, the research i've done so far seems to indicate that its from the 20's? Possibly worth a few hundred? Its a 4 point.
