Didn't Andro wear a pair of vintage shell Florsheims before hydrating them and split them at the vamp?
I like the ones where bad guys get blown up and the good guy gets the girl.Do you guys know "This American Life"? Often on NPR on Sundays but I think you can get podcasts too. It's so good and I think the genre would resonate with this crowd of aesthetics, pseudo romantics, misers, and those with general appreciation of a good, well-told story.
oh, come on,
our kitchen is so clean you could eat in it. nah, really. it's effing clean. and as i said, the Japanese like to have a kind of rug in the kitchen.
just went the wole nine yards, thats all.
-would never carpet a wet area, or a toilet.- or a bathroom.
we can change tiles as we like. and we don't wear our shoes inside, so the wife loves it. clean fresh, not cold carpet at 5am.
when she gets up to make a coffee. wife always wins. and i'm proud of doing a good job on it.
Hmm all this NPR talk has me thinking I'm far from the norm on political stance within us thrifters...
Maybe not, but I would really prefer not to infect this thread with politics. If you remember the Mom Jeans issue. Everywhere these days, people always have to bring up the Bible, immigration, Obamacare etc... I would love just one place where I don't have to worry about saying something that might offend a Democrat, Republican, or Libertarian. Also someplace where it isn't considered de riguer to casually throw out insults against a political party's members. Lets keep politics out of thrifting!
I've wanted to get into fictional audiobooks for the long rides!
I am open to suggestions for starters.

i also tend to listen to alot of old radio serials in podcast form, like an audio book but shorter.
For me, other than car talk, NPR is good for when I need a nap.
